He’s beaten them with less completion in Dallas. I think he’s still never lost in Dallas dating back to high school lol. I’m not even sure if Hurts beats Dallas in Dallas in January.
Are you saying you believe Kyler Murray is a superior QB to Jalen Hurts?

Curious what the over/under will be on how many times that contract gets re-worked. I bet @ least 4....and I'm taking the over.

I just can't wait to see the Eagles implode after they figure out he sucks. Just watch him put on more weight than Mcflabb.

Jello Hurts....

Hefty Hurts...

Junkie Hurts..
Not for nothing but from everything known Jalen is nothing like McNabb or Wentz. Dude is just 24, not a finished QB at that age, maybe he flames out but I don't think the contract will alter his desire to get even better. As an eagles fan I have no issue with the contract. The money for QB's is only going higher.

Realistically the Eagles were right to pay Hurts. Had he not missed a few games late last season then he had an excellent chance of winning MVP and bar one error of dropping the ball which has happened to great quarterbacks in the past - he was fantastic in the Superbowl to prove his worth. When a solid backup like Minshew went in the Eagles weren't the same team. It wasn't a case of being 4-1 with the back up (practice squad) QB but looking a far weaker team and not being a contender without him starting. Further evidence to rubber stamp any doubts.

Prescott will likely receive a similar contract or even more money - food for thought and a reality check for anyone feeling positive about the Cowboys.

I agree with you that I personally believe you need more to make Hurts good as opposed to Burrow….I just can’t prove it lol. Burrow has had some talent at the skilled position….can’t say at offensive line though.
Burrow always gets a pass for not having a team around him but Dak gets blamed even though he doesn’t have a team around him.

Why would it be? The NFC is getting worse, we made steps to correct our defensive deficiencies, and our offense is still mainly intact for at least 2 years
With parity no one gets worse. Cowboys and 49ers for sure got better. There will be 5 or 6 new teams in the playoffs…nfc will be better. That may or may not include Philly im not sure yet lol.

What’s frustrating for fans is there really isn’t a wide pay gap if any between a Franchise QB that is Elite and one that’s not. At least not initially when they are signing a new contract.

Franchise QB’s ,Elite or not , have similar value to a team despite whatever effects it has managing Cap.
I get what you’re saying but it’s hard to compare contracts 2,3,4 years ago to today. Hurts has reset the QB market and it’s a good bet that Jackson, Herbert, and/or Burrow will reset it again. I would imagine the agent for Daniel Jones likely included Dak’s contract in his negotiations. One of the reasons they seem bunched is because they tend to leap frog each other.

I don’t agree with 9ers got better. They dumped Jimmy G and Purdy isn’t sure he’ll play at all next season. The Trey Lance experiment could once again quickly become the Sam Darnold mop up. That’s not a team I’d fear in January

So the team just lucked out and had a record of 4-1 last season with a poor QB?

This included beating a couple of good teams and the loss coming against a team that reached the SB

So either a practice squad QB is the business - which he isn't, the Cowboys had a strong roster last season or the Cowboys lucked out again and again and again and again winning four games without Dak Brian (without wheels) Hoyer Prescott.

Completion %? Jalen’s 2022 is on par with Kyler’s career average, despite JH attempting significantly deeper passes on average than Kyler ever has
Autocorrect is whooping my *** I mean as far as talent around him he has superior talent around him in Philly.

Dak has a pretty good team around him when he was the same age as Jalen.
Will add that when Dak stopped running it changed things a lot. His first few years that was hard to defend.

They have a stacked team and defense. Purdy and Lance will be better than they were last season.
