If kellen wants to interview for that role I’d do everything I could to take back that extension if I were jerry.
extension won’t matter if Kellen leaves.

He should interview just for the experience. Doubt he'd be hired and if he was offered, doubt he'd go.
Oh you blessed person... Get used to it.I just don’t get the Kellen Moore haters...and it .Seems like a lot of people on this forum hate EVERY coach & player the Cowboys hire......Literally!!
Quick to judge so many coaches & players on such a small sample of their career. There are so many variables when it comes to which coaches your hire & which players you draft/or free agents. Owners don’t get to wave a magic wand & poof they get ALL THE BEST COACHES IN THE NFL & ALL THE TOP TALENT IN DRAFT......C’MON MAN!!
You Know It Doesn’t Work That Way...... Is It That Way Where YOU Work???........NO!! Of Coarse Not....You got some great bosses & some di?? head bosses....you got some excellent secretaries & you got some can’t spell CAT even if you spot em the C.....you got some excellent programmers & you got one dude that married the owners daughter, that took a 6 week online course in programming from Hiyati Nigeria and he’s your freaking BOSS Now!!!!
So Chill Out For Christ Sake & Give The Reasonable Fans That Don’t Believe In Fairy Tales A Freaking Break Every Now And Then AND QUIT RAGGING ON EVERY COACH AND PLAYER IN THE COWBOYS ORGANIZATION
I didn’t say ONLY look at younger coaches.Ya I remember when the wildcat offense was "the thing" and people said every team will be running the wildcat and actually about 4 teams did it for a year until defenses figured how to stop it. Ya there is still a very occasional times when a team may try it on the goal tine, but it never turned into that offense that everyone was going to run. Because a couple of coaches who were young got some coaching jobs does not mean that teams ONLY look at young coaches and ignore proven older coaches now. Teams are still going to hire the coaches they think will be the best for them even if they are older coaches.

Well, that’s a broad opinion “ slopfest”. First I’ve heard of anything as such. I’m still not really clear of your intent here.I do not see the elevated play in the NFL that I used to see. It was easy to tell the difference, now? Not so much, the NFL is a slopfest and they've forgotten how to tackle.
Since boy wonder is under contract for 3 years, if Philly did want to hire him would there be any compensation paid to Dallas for the hire? Draft picks? I know that's what happened with Gruden and the Oakland/Tampa Bay swap.
I’m not sure his value could get much higher right now.You got a point...
That Football Guy Master Planner Jerry. Sly dog. Kellen is just waiting in the wings no doubt.
At least if he does leave Big Mac Mike will finally have a job besides smashing watermelons.
Here's, yet, another slant to this thing -- I can't help but wonder if Philly is just attempting to pick Moore's brain to steal info from us! All of this could easily be just a trick to spy on us, with no real intention of granting KM a head coaching position. Trusting an enemy is risky business!
I’d send Kellen just to get some info. I don’t think he’d accept the job anyway.

Yea, I’m not sure of vindictive tone either. We used to applaud our coaches who were promoted and given an greater opportunity.
If he quits for another job there's nothing to "take back", but I'm glad I'll never work for you. Vindictiveness towards employees is a bad look.
A few things to note here on this.
1) It's been reported that the front office is scrambling after Lurie fired Pederson. They had no real plans to change coaches so now they are in catch up mode and basically throwing out requests for interviews like a kid throws spaghetti on the wall hoping one sticks. It's been haphazard.
2) One beat guy says the defensive guys they want to talk to are likely not to get the job as Lurie is enamored with offense (his last three hires have all been considered offensive minded guys). However, they could be looking at potential DCs as we have found out that the Lurie and Roseman seem to have a Jerry Jones like fetish to hire some assistants for the HC.
3) The Eagles are notorious for making claims on guys that play for teams on their immediate schedule. It would not be surprising at all for them to want to talk to Moore and hope a side benefit would be to glean some info from him.
It's ironic that Garrett was coveted by the Giants? LOL. It was a demotion and let's note, he doesn't seem to be getting much interest in all these new openings for HC.
Some of these comments just prove to me how many Cowboy fans love to wallow in mediocrity.
With 4 different starting QB's and a patchwork Oline they were 200 yards out of the 6th most productive offense yards wise. Yeah, let's get rid of that guy.
