Lol they already did pay him. They use void years and backload contracts. When they get near this deal’s end, they will likely do an extension and move the void money off another 5 years or so.
Oh I have no doubt they'll be better with a defensive coordinator that knows what he's doing and has a plan he's followed for decades. I'm talking about last year. Every time the Eagles defense was on the field it scared Eagles fans. I know because I sat with 6 every week. But it's also fair to point out there is a learning curve every time you change a defensive, and offensive coordinator.
