Math not your strong suit? December game still has two after so not only does it matter even if Philly goes undefeated till then, Dallas would be one back with two to go. So you’re terribly wrong with basic addition and subtraction
ya ya keep dreaming pal

Eagles are definitely the top NFC team. If the Boys want to change that narrative, beat them on Xmas Eve. Make a statement.

Just from the Eyeball test, the Eagles still look to be the Top NFC Team.
We look good but these slow starts may work against lesser teams but they will likely not against better teams.
The Eagles look more consistent and possess the talent to put Dallas away should the Cowboys get off to a slow start, where they may not be able to recover as they have been able to against lesser teams.

You should have watched the Eagles vs. the Colts game. We played the Colts as a common opponent. That might give you a better idea how we can match up against them.

any given Sunday. This entire we played A better than they played A … so we are better, line of thinking just doesn’t work.

Eagles are playng well, but they barely got by the colts and lost to Washington so they are beatable. Last time we played them Rush was QB and yet was still a close game.

The way I see it, our team is built to beat two teams: San Fran, and the Eagles.

Did you bother to check the Eagles 1st qtr points? They have had several games of going scoreless. So what is your point about starting slow again?

The first half of the Colts game looked like a team coming off a bye week. I'm not too concerned at this point.

There are 3 teams in the NFC one just lost a QB. It's all going to boil down to our QB in big games. The eagles should shed some light on that.

I agree.

I cannot put the Vikings ahead of the Cowboys after what the Cowboys did to them at their house.

And I cannot put the 49ers ahead of the Cowboys with a total unknown at the most important position, even if the rest of the team is very good.

That puts the Cowboys at #2 in the NFC in my eyes.

We will see what happens on Christmas Eve to change that

The Christmas Eve game will be important only if the Cowboys keep winning and the Eagles lose a game in the same time span, Eagles have a two game lea and Dallas can't get the head-to-head advantage, of course. Even if Dallas beats them, they're still a game ahead of Dallas.

Best scenario is that the Giants and the former you-know-who team are in the running for a playoff spot and will need wins to get in.

Otherwise, the Giants and the other team will probably lay down just to get draft position and to thwart Dallas.

Like you said, though, we'll see....

Dumb. Pure dumb statement.

Eye test, eh? Where's your "eye test" when these same Eagles you worship have struggled to barely beat the Colts and Vikings, both teams the Cowboys recently blew away for huge victories?

Some people don't deserve to be fans of the Dallas Cowboys.

yeah but you also see things like Tyron Smith’s injury being an elaborately staged thing, so…

I don’t recall the Eagles struggling to beat the Vikings. It was a blowout early and they took the foot off the gas…still won by 17 points. On which planet is that a struggle?

Besides, I would hope you are smart enough to realize that you can’t simply look at common opponent games. It’s never worked that way. Gambling would be much easier if it did. NFL teams don’t bring their A-games every single week, and it’s not always who you play but when you play them.

There doesn't seem to be any denying that Philly has the best OL in the league at this juncture.

They will, undoubtedly be severely tested during the playoff run and in the playoffs themselves.

There are several teams in the NFL that should give them all they can handle to keep winning!

Of course, most Cowboys fans as well as fans of other teams, are planning to beat them soon.

Eagles are 11-1 and at this point the team to beat in the NFC. Can’t take anything away from them 11-1 is strong.
