2013 was pretty bad. Chiefs took Eric Fischer first overall.

The rest of it stunk as well. Travis Frederick may have been the best player in that whole draft.

This is why you’ve gotta at least try in free agency if you expect to get better.
Yeah, the draft that we got roasted by everyone because we traded back to get Frederick and we passed over Eric Reid, safety and a defensive tackle who became a defensive coach for us last year. Good times.

Adam Schefter thinks The Eagles should not let Barkley get the record, and lose on purpose to the Giants. Why? So that the Giants would not get a chance to draft a top tier QB.

This is next level stuff and should make a lot of you “tankers” happy…

And us.

Eagles already did it to us once, throwing the game to worse our draft pick. Cost us dearly, don't remember who though.

Nope. Not everyone. I loved the Fredsy pick from the start. Those roasting it were just being dumb from listening way too much to BSPN and a pile of supposed draft experts.

Yeah looking at it quickly I guess Lane Johnson has to be considered the best pick. There was another recent one that was just awful, can’t recall the year. 2009 was great.

Just saying, shouldn’t be counting on the draft only if you’re trying to win now, especially in one of those down years. Do our GMs recognize this? Not so sure.

Aw come on, Jerry's just saving money this year so he can make a killing in FA next year! He's playing 3D chess, while the rest of 'em are playing Connect Four!

Sounds like an excuse if Rush beats the Eagles.
It must be so torturing to see the Cowboys win with Rush.

The Giants are so bad, it might be difficult to lose to them on purpose.

I think they'll make a run at Darnold in the offseason.
Darnold would be a disaster behind that OL.

They probably would be better off with Kirk and praying he is a lot better 1 year removed from the achilles

While the crop isn’t that great this year at QB, Sanders IMO is the most ready QB of the bunch. He has been prepping for this his entire life and has always won. A division with Daniels and Sanders sounds scary!

I doubt very much that the Eagles are worried about the Giants, with or without the first pick.
I agree. Giants are irrelevant now. There is no must have QB in this draft anyway. Eagles need to worry about themselves and play well to end the year. They are probably more interested in a avalanche of a first half and then give some starters some rest late.

I have to disagree with you on this one, brother. Fredbeard was a fantastic choice. Don't get me wrong, Reid would have been a good choice too, but Frederick was impactful from day one and a great center whose career got cut short because of that freak rare illness.

I think the Eagles are thinking about securing the #2 seed this weekend, so they can rest their starters the last week of the season....not worrying about loser teams that aren't even in the playoffs.

I don't think they'd tank on purpose

BUT... it could be that most or all seeds could be locked going into Week 17. So Dallas could finish with a win vs Washington which I would LOVE to see :)
