Eagles Tank this week to hurt Giants?

BUT... it could be that most or all seeds could be locked going into Week 17. So Dallas could finish with a win vs Washington which I would LOVE to see

They did in 2014, cost us Aaron Donald.

Commanders win out and Eagles lose out and I think WAS wins the division. So Philly has to play Dallas hard, and if they lose will play everyone vs NY and beat the ever living something out of them

I can't believe it but this is true. If the Eagles lose out and Washington wins out, Washington wins the division based on the division record tiebreaker. But the Eagles would have to lose to Dallas this week.

Other people feel the need to bring up really dumb hypothetical scenarios is never gonna happen because you’re not thinking about the Giants and where they’re gonna pick in the draft not even for one second I don’t get it why these posts even me I get somebody else wrote it but it was unnecessary to even post about it has nothing to do with the Dallas Cowboys I don’t care where we draft with anybody in the NFC East drafts draft he has a funny way of working itself out there’s a lot of players to choose from and all seven rounds whatever happens happens and that’s how you have to play the games you play every game to win the only time you hold players out is if they’re injured and you need them fresh and healthy for the playoffs so there might be a reason to not play a lot of your starters for that like somebody said above it’s gonna be awful hard to lose to the Giants no matter what team you bring out there

I mean the Cowboys are beat some teams like Washington and the Buccaneers with mostly back ups these are like a preseason roster you have mostly back up sprinkled in with some starters and we beat some playoff teams

So I’m pretty sure that the Eagles back ups could probably beat the Giants pretty handedly

It is absolutely the smart move. I read an article last year about what tanking one game at the end of 2020 got the Eagles in terms of players and draft picks. spoiler alert, it was immense. I wish we had of started tanking when Dak went down.

Adam Schefter thinks The Eagles should not let Barkley get the record, and lose on purpose to the Giants. Why? So that the Giants would not get a chance to draft a top tier QB.
