Eagles tie Dallas in championships. I'm disgusted

Its just incredible that he keeps fooling people. I dont know whats worse, that he still feels the continued troll job is worth his time, or that the goobers keep falling for it.

If he is hell bent on being here, just drop the charade and follow the example of guy like @Aerolithe_Lion or @Pola_pe_a .They come here to discuss football with rival fans. There is another chap too. Name escapes. I think he has MVP in his usernam
Exactly….at this point it’s trolling. He doesn’t even hide it well.

How are you disgusted? You're the biggest front-runner of all-time. I fully expect you to be an eagles fan next season, then whoever wins the SB after that.

Yeah thats the thing. They're playing in smaller leagues when other teams weren't even there yet. I give them credit for the 1960 win. But a lot of teams weren't even in the league yet in the 40s. If you go prior to that, I don't even think they had a championship game. Just best record won.
They didn't have championship games way back then.

You notice eagles fans are the only fans who bring up those ancient championships. I've never heard a giants or packers fan mention them, only eagles fans.

Yep. I’ve called him out on it too. I don’t think he’s trying to hide it honestly. I think he’s playing a game. Why? I don’t know. If my team won the SB I would not be on a rivals message board….
He probably doesn't have many friends to hang out with and he enjoys the trolling lifestyle.
I mean honestly, who would ever brag about being a fan of the Lakers, Yankees, Alabama and the Cowboys?

Yes, the Eagles will be the favorites to win the SB again next year, but there is a lot of football to be played before we get back to the SB. The Eagles deserve to be the favorites heading into next year. But I suspect the Lions, and Chiefs, will both be back and looking to flip the script. The Lions defense was decimated by injuries. They be back and I think they are the one team that can challenge the Eagles because they have strong offensive and defensive lines, just like the Eagles. They also have weapons on offense. One thing we know, both teams will make moves in the off-season to get better.

I think the Eagles showed last night just how far the Cowboys are from winning a championship. They are not going to move ahead of the Eagles relying on the draft alone. They are not going to beat the Eagles relying on Dak and CeeDee.

They have so much work to do in the trenches and it will take at least 2 years to fix that problem alone - maybe more. The thing that should concern us if Jerry Jones will never be as good as or better than Howie Roseman at building a roster.

cowboys have won 5 super bowls.
eagles 2.

just because its been a long drought doesn't mean we play funny math.

Ok sure - I’ll play along with your convoluted logic -
Cowboys won more Superbowls -FACT
Cowboys won more championships since they have been in the league - FACT
You can’t compare championships pre merger era with limited teams - in fact you can even compare years in league vs championships won and cowboys still lead the E girls

Yes bottom line Eagles look pretty freaking beastly (I puked a lil then ) but to compare histories is futile at this point - however the one fact remains the E Girls are catching up for sure and they do appear to be on top of the mountain for the foreseeable future barring any major injuries etc
Whereas our Dallas Cowboys continue to wallow in mediocrity and almosts - that doesn’t appear to be changing anytime soon either - all I can do is pop in my DVD’s (my vhs broke ) of the championship years and recall the superbowl wins I witnessed growing up - from our first win 24-3 over the dolphins to the Larry Brown Bowl XXX - ugggh

They're good.
We suck.

The past is gone, never to be revisited, and no trophies are awarded for historical comparisons

I don't disagree with you. But they were still NFL championships, even way back in the 40s. They had two divisions, and the championship game was between the division winners. If two teams were tied for the division, they actually had a playoff game to break the tie. Before the 40s is when they didn't have championship games. But the Eagles actually played and won championship games. But when you go back to the late 40s, it's not even the same game. But they did play and win 3 championship games against the Chicago Cardinals, Packers, and Rams.

On a side note. The Jets never won an NFL championship game. They won an AFL championship game. The Colts won the NFL championship. The Jets won........I don't know. Those were AFL VS NFL games. All up until super bowl 5.

In my personal opinion super bowl 5 should be super bowl 1. Because that's what it was. The prior 4 super bowls were AFL VS NFL games.

Hmm, going this hard in the paint to defend that you brought up pre-SuperBowl championships is something I only ever see actual Eagles fans do.
In baseball there were also half as many teams back in the early 20th century, games were played only by people of a certain color, there were no salary restrictions so the richest teams kept winning, and no actual playoffs. Indeed, when the Yankees won their first title, in 1923, there were only 8 teams per league, and the only playoff was between the winners of each pennant. And yet, no one discounts all those Yankees World Series Championships, do they?

People like that usually get their jollies from fooling people. If you dig down deep enough you will find the megalomania.

You make a great point and I agree with most of it.
However, up until the super bowls there were other leagues. So they can say they were league Champs but not world Champs.
Trust me, had the Cleveland Browns been in the NFL in the mid 40s instead of the 1950 season the eagles probably wouldn't have won in 48 and 49. The Browns were that good at that time.
The NFL was just the football league that financially survived over the others. That didn't make their teams better though.
Am I making sense?

Yes…the Cowboys suck! I don’t know why this is still a surprise to people. This is a dysfunctional organization run by an arrogant billionaire and is bumbling children.
This organization is mired in mediocrity and there has only been ONE constant over this 30-year drought…yea…Jerry Jones! Sadly for us fans, Jerry is still living off of the accomplishments of the championship teams of the 90’s, in spite of the fact he had nothing to do with it.

When the team was at a crossroads at the end of this past season, it was a perfect opportunity to start rebuilding the Cowboys…so instead Jerry signs CD Lamb to a big contract, one who checks out of games when he isn’t heavily involved in the game plan; and of course the $240 MM man himself, Dak, who is in no way, shape or form, the QB that Jerry thinks he is…this has got to be one of dumbest moves Jerry has ever made…and he has made a lot of them.

Then Jerry goes out and hires a nobody OC as head coach, not based on wins, leadership or pedigree, but familiarity and comfort…don’t want to rock that boat and make players earn their spot on the team.

I don’t see how the team moves forward and improves with Jerry not spending in free agency, continue making questionable early round draft picks, then trading said draft picks on players who in all likelihood won’t be on the team this year.

And Jerry doesn’t even seem embarrassed. How blissfully ignorant is that?
