Eagles tie Dallas in championships. I'm disgusted

They didn't have championship games way back then.

You notice eagles fans are the only fans who bring up those ancient championships. I've never heard a giants or packers fan mention them, only eagles fans.

Yankees fans talk all the time about their 27 World Series Championships, but much like in football, there were far fewer teams back in the early 20th Century. Yet, no one questions their total even though in 1923 there were only 16 teams, no playoffs, no salary caps, etc.

Yes, they did have a championship game “back then”. Packers fans always speak of all of their championships. And anything over 20 years ago is ancient history in the NFL.

We're talking about football though. 2 baseball leagues didn't merge together to create a giant league like the NFL and AFL did. That's the difference.

Rumor has it the skins are going to aggressively pursue upgrading their defense not the Dallas way, but the Eagles way. They want to purchase a dominant defense utilizing free agency, trades, and the draft. That will present a problem especially if Twiggy their quarterback avoids breaking one of those skinny bones. We may be seeing the Myles Garret in the NFC East next year

We are 25 years into this 21st century. You guys need to let go of what happened last century.

The jones boys cant even get to a NFC Championship game !! (this century) lol so that means Jerrys cowboys
are total losers apart from winning the division occasionally.

U guys might as well forget about SB Championships, it isnt happening, Jerry has blown off FA.
And as far as HC he hires, it doesnt matter if he wont use FA.

No. They recognize the NFL champion back to 1920, and recognized the Super Bowl winner as the NFL champion starting with the first Super Bowl.

A Championship is a Championship. What difference does it make what they call it?

Trust me....it's just a matter of time before the NFL figures out a way to make more money renaming the championship game once again (probably once they finally put a team in Europe). Do you want our 5 championships to stop counting once that happens?

It matters because there were only like 8 teams in the league, and before integration. I would like the NFL to rename the championship, that way Jerry and his boot licking fans can stop living in the past.

I too am petty upset with the current state of the Cowboys, especially with Jerry's strangle hold on the GM position, which he has proven without a shadow of a doubt is over his head.
