Eagles tie Dallas in championships. I'm disgusted

This is the type of trolling that the mods need to clean up. It's ridiculous at this point. If Eagles fans, even minutes after a SB win, are so obsessed with the Cowboys that they can't wait to run over here and post, who cares. But to let them over and over come on here and start threads like this with this veiled BS is just weak
100%

They didnt rename it, it was when the 2 leagues merged to form the current league...I dont care that fans of teams bring this up, but when next to todays current NFL that is the equation of the NFC/AFC championship game not the superbowl..It was named that because the champions of the 2 leagues played each other. Have the Eagles won more than 2 championships for sure, have they won more than 2 superbowls..NO not even by stretching your imagination...
This is a very good point. It points out the difficulty level. In 2 out of their 3 championships, they had to win a 5 team division to get there, and a 6 team division for their 3rd. That's a hell of a lot easier than an entire conference.

Haven’t heard an Eagles fan mention those Championships as being the same as a SB ever. That’s why 2017 was so special to so many people, they finally got a SB.

Your argument is ridiculous. They still count NHL titles from when there were only six teams. They do the same thing for major league baseball. For the NFL it’s like the world started in the 1960s. It’s complete BS.

So why do they still count NHL championships from when they were only six teams? Major league baseball World Series wins count from a gazillion expansions ago. Only the NFL totally erased everything that happened before the merger… Like it doesn’t matter.

Yet they count NHL championships from when they were six teams. Similar for baseball.
It does seem like everyone, including the NFL, wants to start at or around the merger. My guess is that the game changed dramatically from its infancy.

Also, how far back do you have to go in baseball for a 6 team league? You probably have to go back to the 1800s. I don't hear anyone bragging about a world series from then.

- Philly Eagles made it happened ... We Dallas Cowboys HAVE NOT make it happen.

- Philly has made it clear they have a Huge Luxury Difference maker in front office Howie Roseman
..(sigh) .while we the Dallas Cowboys have a Monster Weakness with these Jones front office management

-They wheel & deal with draft pick trades ..acquiring key future first round picks,..going after key FA studs ala Saquon Barkley,.. trading for WR AJ Brown
While we only trade back for mid round picks, trade mid rd picks for non-contributing players

- Our best bets have been late round bargain trades for vets such as Gilmore, Cooks and DE Griffin and depending 100% on McClay's draft class, while we re-sign
our key core players- ala Dak, CeeDee Lamb, Zack,,and next up Parsons an Tyler Smith ..but that's clearly proving that just not enuff...

- and when we do have a clear opening to add a significant vet player ... " We couldn't afford him "

- Philly isnt perfect, they have missed on first rounders such as WR Jalen Reagor and OT Andre Dilllard,..but they keep pecking at it in personnel moves -and they end
up getting it right,... while we miss on players, get one or two, but then keep making same front office mistakes and non-involvements that set us back for years to come.

I'm also disgusted. Disgusted at the players, the staff, the team reporters that go along to get along, never rocking the boat for several decades, and the Jones Clan for the willful ineptitude. We are a museum now. That's the part that disgusts me most. Philly evolved, and we stayed the same then regressed. Kudos to Philly for looking in the mirror and asking the hard questions. We never seem to.

Exactly
The eagles had that run with mcnab and Reid, but didn't win a SB, then rebuilt and had this run. They are running laps around us as an organization. It isn't even close.

It isn't just the eagles, there are several organizations that have passed us by years ago. It's laughable at this point and isn't changing anytime soon.

Jerry doubles down on failure, disguised it as coming up just short or being snake bit lol.

They certainly include the championships when they cite the number of championships their team won

Agrred. There was like 12 teams in the entire league when the Eagles won pre-SB titles.
so stanley cups dont matter then for the redwings or habs or the old bruins one during the 6 teams period or even 18 teams period? come on, eagles were never a loser franchise like the bills or vikings!

It’s almost as if the point of the OP is bragging about the Eagles pre-SB championships.
people act like 1960 is the 1800s, its not ancient history plus it was televised, you should not count the stanley cup winners before the 70s then when there were 6 teams
