Eagles v Pats Game thread *Merged*

Put your four fingers up baby!!! Man I can't believe I am rooting for the Eagles!!!:banghead: :bang2:

I wonder why Philly's defensive coordinator has never gotten a chance as a head coach, at least as far as I know....

I am listening to the game on Sirius. I am curious, could someone please fill me in on whether that was the RIGHT call on that penalty. I want to know if he was indeed offsides.

Thanks

lol i saw this on another forum:

"Don Shula is staring at the champagne bottle right now. He hasn't touched it, not about to open it or anything, but every once in a while, during a commercial, he glances in that direction, just wondering..."

Good stuff

he's made it clear that he doesn't want to be a HC

a good shot across the bow of teams who favor the 4 and "big five" receiver sets...good tackling, hitting and stripping can slow it down quite a bit...Welker is making it all go right now...

Too old. The modern NFL only gives chances to young guys or guys who've been NFL head coaches before. Silly, but that's the way it is.

Just a great effort by the Eagles. That's the thing about Andy Reid... he is rarely out-coached - just doesn't have the talent he has been accustomed to. His teams are generally well-prepared.

It was.

The Eagles player clearly jumped. The LS did duck his head, but that happens all the time on punts.

I like the fact that the Eagles are playing up tight and making the Pats beat them instead of sitting back letting Brady pick them apart. They are forcing them out of their comfort zone and playing really good defense, especially in the 2nd half.

What again? Kind of like earlier when Brady takes half a step backwards similating the snap and gets the offsides call.
no they just simply flinched.

turnovers on down...yessir
