How can it be a turnover when the Eagles never recovered it?

It would have to be ruled a catch by the bears and since no one recovered it the ball stays with the team possessing the ball.
Anything else and it’s another stupid rule.

How do you know an eagle would have recovered it

How do you know he wouldn’t? The refs screwed up by never giving the defense a chance by making the wrong call.

I'm still stunned by that ref.

He realized the implications of overturning the call (his crew made a big mistake in calling the play wrong) and then proceeded to make an obvious wrong call--clearly avoiding ruling on whether it was a catch or not--so the whole world could see him cover up the implications of missing the call

So far we are the highest scoring team in the playoffs this weekend despite playing a very good defense.

The refs absolutely are horrible this year. They can't even get stuff right with instant replay. The Chargers/Ravens game was ridiculous. Ball is clearly at the one inch line and they move it back to the one yard line. Next play Gordon scores and they call him down.

It is a dumb rule
If it’s a catch, fumble and no recovery it should go back to where it was caught
