Eagles wr Desean Jackson carted of the field

DeSean Jackson suffered a hyper-extended right knee in Saturday's practice.

Jackson went to the tent to receive treatment and was eventually carted off. It sounds like he survived the scare, however. "I'm all right," he said afterward while giving a thumbs up sign. "No problems." Jackson had been the most impressive player in camp leading up to today's practice.

I expect to see him nicked a lot during his career due his size.

I hope he misses a lot of Cowboys games. The guy is gonna cause problems when healthy.

we don't need to hope he misses any cowboys games. Newman, Scandrick, and Jenkins will lock that kid down.

I hope he misses all the Cowboys games. Newman, Scandrick, and Jenkins can lock other less talented receivers down.

If it could have been a high ankle sprain...

I was amazed he survived his rookie year. I agree, he will get bounced around a lot.

I like Jackson as a player.

I think he's legit.

I liked him coming out of Cal and wanted Dallas to draft him.

Having said that,

I can't wait for Newman to shut that little troll down, TWICE!

Payback is coming.

The Eagles are having a rough go of it this offseason. 2 ACL's already and now their best WR is hurt, although it's not a long term thing.

My dad and I had a talk today - he feels that we need a speedy receiver like Terry Glenn to stretch the field and that the Eagles might be the team to beat...I countered by saying that with 2 ACLs to key players and a new defensive coordinator (God rest Jim Johnson's soul) they will be shaky on defense. Also, I went on to say we don't need some super-fast receiver, and that our strength on offense will be distribution and matchups.

oh, and :trophy: just for giggles

Who on the Eagles busted their ACLs?

Sorry i've been on vacation and am too lazy to look.

I know it did. :)

Very few WRs his size last in the NFL. Especially today with the size and strength of players. I just do not see him having a long career.

Starting MLB, Bradley I think, and their rookie TE who was supposed to be a monster. The TE blew out the same ACL last year as a senior in college.

Jackson has been the most impressive player for the Eagles... That's not good news for them because he's OK.

A hyperextension - is that all? I was kinda hoping he stepped on a landmine or something.

JK, Iggles lurkers. Get well soon, Jackson. I wanna see the Cowboys smoke 'em 'straight up'.
