no. Ealy will be a one year deal with a team option for year 2. ON THE CHEAP. I actually like the fit. He wont be expected to start,but to be a rotational piece.

I like the possible fit too, but not if they're paying him any real money. There are repeated stories about a questionable attitude - much like Damontre Moore last year - and if they're true, I want the same easy "out" on the contract that they had - and used - with Moore.

Sounds like he left Dallas without a deal. That doesn’t mean it’s dead but it is always nice when a team gets them signed before they leave the building.

I'm sure most agents advise their clients to continue to look at options before making a decision, or if they have already looked at them, to go home so they can make a decision with a clearer head than possible if they are still visiting a team. The obvious exception might be if a team is willing to commit to blatantly overpay before the player leaves.

9% would be a big number for a guy making millions a year. Plus, aren't there still property taxes in states with a state income tax?
