Minus the drama, he might be a good one year rental. Jerry, might need to also sign his handler (His wife).
I'd do that, if it was an affordable deal. No more than 2 or 3 million a year. No signing bonus so if he has a psychotic breakdown we can cut him with mo penalty.i wouldnt be opposed to a one or 2 year low risk deal.
It scares me even more knowing that the DBs would be led by two slow, declining players at the end of their careers. We are rumored to be in on Sherman. If we bring him and his leadership/history of holding ET accountable in the secondary then I’m all for it. ET alone as the vet amongst all our young guys scares me.
If he's done, why sign him/For a HOF-caliber Safety, it seems like his career might be done...
Any chance we can get him for like a 1 year, $1mn deal?

Sad ending. Wonder if he still makes the cut for the HOF
Last I had heard on Earl Thomas, there was still some bad incidents going on with him in his personal life. I don’t think any NFL team wants to get into that.
It must be really bad when teams like the Cowboys and organizations who like to take on these players didn't do it. One of the biggest mysteries to me is how they went from almost trading for Thomas to not wanting him at all.Earl Thomas has had mental and emotional issues lately that other teams don't want to mess with. I think the Cowboys are one of them.![]()
Yeah - your right - it was Coakley- I put the wrong name in and then realized it after it was too late to edit - my bad!I thought maybe we trade Dexter Coakley for him.
