Out of the 18 players, only five of them have ever been to the Pro Bowl. I'll take a proven NFL Superstar over an unproven draft pick any day.

The only problem is, can we fit him under the cap? Not sure.

How about look at the players picked around that pick ie 18-20 or 17 -21 to get an actual feel for the type of talent that is around the pick?

I'd go as high as a third rounder. I think they'd get at least a fourth round comp pick down the road when he signed elsewhere.

But on the matter of his contract, I'm not busting the budget. If his angle is just to get "Eric Berry money" now, he can go do that in Cleveland. I'm not paying him more than the $10 million a year he's making now. That's plenty already.

It’s clear Seattle doesn’t want to extend earl that they’ve been talking with the cowboys for a trade. Which supposedly started at the combine. Just can not let them fleece us. Send a conditional 3rd and give him a contract. He can change the defensive culture quickly.
