Still too much. A 3rd plus Scandrick would be as high as I would go. And that's only if I could trade back up into the 3rd round later on. We have an extra 4th rounder and 5th rounder. Get me back into the 3rd round with a 4th and 5th and I'll bite.

I'm really starting to think they are trying to swing a trade and everything else is on hold until we are pretty sure we can't get him. And the longer scandrick is on the team, the more I believe he'll be shipped to Seattle

On Thomas? That we are in no hurry to complete a deal and not negotiate against ourselves. Offer a fourth and be willing to raise it to a third. Only be willing to do the deal if they allow contact negotiations and we can complete an extension. Else holdout for next year when we can get him for only cash.

We would save a grand total of 1.4 mill if they took him in a trade. Doing us a favor? Sure. Although a very small one and nothing to write home about. The Seahawks are going the rebuild/youth route. A 31 year old stop gap like Scandrick, who would be off the books after 2019, are exactly the types of players they should be looking at right now to solidify their corner position for the time being.
