You have a DT problem. You have a LB problem. You have an OT problem.

Taking at WR at 24 is nuts to me unless it's a case where a guy you have ranked really high falls to you, like Lamb did a few years ago. Then in that scenario, yeah, you take the WR.
Potentially have a CB problem too

I'd trip all over myself running DeJeans card up.

If we let both JLew and Gilly go, CB becomes a big need
Verse is a dog too!

That Sainstrill kid from Mich is a good guy to keep an eye out. Slot / Nickel DB that could take over JLews role.

I don't get it either.
With it being a passing league where the top dogs in the playoffs are scoring I’ve always felt like it’s great to have a stud WR on contract and one on a rookie deal.

Ex:
- Hill and Waddle
- Brown and Smith
- Deebo and Aiyuk
- Kupp and Puka

Getting this defense fixed is priority number one for me but I’m hoping we attack it in FA and we can take the best players eaely
in the draft. WR isn’t my preference at 24 but if it’s clear cut BPA when the dust settles I’d be on board.

Ew why? DeJean isn't going to be a corner in the NFL. He doesn't do anything in college in coverage that translates. Michael Ojemudia was very similar. It's just what that Iowa scheme enables.

He'll probably be a good safety, but he's not an NFL corner. I've seen this clip a lot, and it's an easy touchdown in the NFL lol

I thought I heard that he compares to Overshown, more of an undersized type.
Similar build but different player and prospect.

IMO Overshown was more of a finesses LBr prospect…great in coverage and good blitzer but still developing in instincts and getting downhill.

Cooper is more of a do it all guy. Positive PFF grades against run, pass and blitzing. Honestly reminds me of a Parsons lite as a prospect just not at that same blue chip level. One of my favorite things about him is how he could be a big boost to our pass rush.

I just worry about undersized backers with this team, especially how Quinn leave gapping holes with all his stunts/twists.

He’s about the same size as Warner and Roquan.

Im not worried about the size we just need a LBr that actually has good instincts and that can get off blocks to make plays.

Clark has looked lost out there at times. His lack of instincts keep him from being a stud.

Those are modern day linebackers, just worry about his fit with our current personnel and scheme. Totally agree about instincts. Nick Bolton who I loved ran poorly, but he has been a real good linebacker on this level due to his high level instincts.

And Bolton is only about 3/5 pounds heavier...

Cooper's tape is fun because you get a little bit of everything which is why I think he's a great prospect. You do get to see him line up at MLB and his instincts seem to be solid...not a lot of wasted steps and pretty quick to trigger. That's what we're missing at LB IMO.

I watched him recently, his read/react is very quick.

I'm fully on board. Dallas needs someone who likes to tackle and isn't undersized. His awareness, blitz angles, screen coverage all show he is indeed someone that will help our Defense bounce back. Kiper's #1 off-ball linebacker.
