49ers not looking so good against a horrible Seahawks offense. We should have a very easy route to 3-1 we just need to do it. If we are even 3-3 when Romo comes back we are looking pretty good.

It's not the losses that has them second guessing the play calling. It's the play calling that has had a hand in those defeats that's the issue. Screens to Witten of all people; abandoning the running game when you've had a multi-TD lead in the second half; poor clock management; not finding a way to get your #1 WR the ball. We can go on and on and have discussed it here in great detail. These are not reactionary opinions. Many fans were Garrett supporters, as I was. But we're at year 10 of Garrett's offense and what, year 6 of him as a HC?

Also, Zimmer's D was pretty bad here as time went on. We saw players out of position, Ware covering receivers rather than rushing the passer.....just some head scratchers. I'm glad he's rebounded in Minny, but even Jerry didn't consider him when Parcells was out the door.

Screen to Witten are bad plays, it's not happening often though. We haven't "abandoned the run" since 2013, but even then, our run blocking is not where it was in 2014-15. Poor clock management, you can criticize every coach from time to time with this. Not finding a way to get our #1 WR the ball? Dude, Bryant ends up with over 80-90 catches a season. What are you on about?

Don't really want to make a Garrett thread out of this one. Safe to say we still don't see it the same way.

Same with Zimmer. He really was pretty much the same coach here he was in CIN and is now in MIN. He was gone to ATL before Parcels turned in his notice, btw. That was the season Bill was looking into the NY GM gig and dithering back and forth before he kind of left Jerry in the lurch.

How many kicks have been blocked today? AZ, Wash, Jax, and Pitt have all had blocked kicks today.

Exactly, while Manning has two Super Bowls, he's also been a huge reason for their lack of success outside of those two Super Bowl runs. If you don't find this to be a problem, head on over to the Giants board and have some discussions with them. Heck, just go to when he got a new contract.

Manning never was and never will be elite. Never. He's a Flacco-level QB who had a great defense and some great throws. Credit for his Super Bowl wins, but he also gets criticism for many of the Giants failures where they can't even make playoffs.
Manning has had an elite defense most of his career. If you don't think that D had a LOT to do with those super bowl runs want watching. Eli made some plays for sure, but swap the defenses and they lose to Dallas in round 1.

Every coach has bad days...every single one. But Garrett has seemed to string them together over the course of several seasons that have had a direct impact on us making the playoffs. Dude, go look up how often Bryant gets taken out of games and get back to me.

Never seen a quicker player than Sproles. He's so compact in size he looks like he's moving 100 mph.
