And like I figured, Switzer just needed a competent coaching staff to use him correctly. Such a waste and then a knee jerk reaction trade for a player who was a nobody. We gave up on him after one year and didn't even try and get him involved. He's not great by any means but he definitely is a good 4th WR.
Many teams would have cut Switzer last season when he missed most of training camp and pre-season. Hard for any coaching staff to get a rookie involved who doesn't practice especially at the wide receiver position. Add to that he is a guy that needed an off season in an NFL weight room.
