Well, I wasn't watching the Eagles/Lions game and I decided to check it out. I watched the Eagles promptly march down the field and score a TD. I turned off the game.

Doesn't the rule say if a player goes out of bounds, he can't the first one to touch the ball when he comes back in? I'm not sure where being pushed out of bounds comes in, though.

I think people are really exaggerating that. We're talking about an extra point attempt here. It's a chip shot.

I've kicked the ball in better conditions and have had a difficult time keeping my footing.

Detroit needs to throw it more, the Eagles are having a hard time covering, and the run game isn't nearly as productive.
