Early Games Thread 12/18

Doesn't the rule say if a player goes out of bounds, he can't the first one to touch the ball when he comes back in? I'm not sure where being pushed out of bounds comes in, though.

If pushed out of bounds, he has to reestablish himself back into the field, and then he's ok. Don't think he was pushed, but really hard to tell if he actually stepped out.

I don't like this at all. What I originally thought would end as an 8-0 win for the Lions is turning into a possible Eagles comeback... ugh :/

8-0 and 14-6 is the same score differential.

Great, and the Pack is winning now.

That Eagles TD involved an official's assist. Not the call in the back of the endzone but the non-hold call right smack dab in front of the official that wasn't called. The defensive lineman was being jerked on his shoulder. Nothing.

Right, but I didn't think the Eagles were capable of scoring points in this weather. Now that they clearly can, I'm actually afraid they might win now, heh.

I will say this, the Cowboys bad luck is sometimes too great to believe. Adrian Peterson goes down the week before Philly has to go there. Philly probably beats them anyway, but without Peterson the chances went sky high.

I'm sorry, a call like that makes it very hard for me to believe that the NFL is not into manufacturing close games. That is one of the worst roughing calls I have ever seen in my life.
