Early Games thread

Really hard to hammer Luck on this game. This is the same defense that made Rodgers look like a little boy.

Why? Has made it further in the playoffs each year, took a horrid Colts team to the playoffs in his first year, and threw for 40 TDs last season.

Look at his efficiency metrics.

Look at his division.

He isn't a better QB than Romo. And it isn't really close.

Buffalo is shutting down Luck very much like they did to Aaron Rodgers late last season.

What a defense.

The same problems that Luck is dealing with are the same problems that Romo had for most of his career. QB's can't do it alone...............

People expected Romo to, but see past that for Luck. Goes along with being the Cowboys QB I guess.

Anybody thing Chicago is taking a page out of how we play?? Theylook just like us on O, othen than the fact Cutler sucks.

I was just about to post how they have protected Cutler from himself by making him run the ball more.

He looks sharp with the passes he's thrown, part of that is limiting his attempts..

I'm just glad it's a decent game...

Don't even use that as an excuse, he played like garbage and then improved every week thereafter.

Luck is having a bad game, but so do a lot of QBs on opening day, it's nothing new. But of course, to suggest that any QB aside from is good is almost blasphemous around here. Everyone else is lucky, carried by their team, etc....

excuse? someone was comparing Lucks current game to Romos game vs San Fran last season.

the difference is Romo was working on coming out of back surgery. thats a huge difference. whats Luck's excuse? bad supporting cast only? Luck should be Lucky.
