The Texans also passed on Derek Carr because of the David Carr debacle. They were in need of a QB, and just did not have the guts on getting his brother after getting burned. In hindsight, passing on him turned into a big mistake as well. Now they have an overpaid backup starting for them.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing. I remember too many Cowboys fans begging Jerry to take Manziel, but none of them will admit it now.

After being burned by David Carr with the #1 overall pick you couldn't blame the Texans for passing on his brother who wasn't rated nearly as high but for Cleveland to move out of the #2 overall spot when they desperately need a franchise QB and pass on a potential franchise QB in Wentz was a mistake the Browns my live to regret for many years.

Seattle AND Detroit to lose and we win gets us the #1 seed tonight.
If either Sea or Det loses and we win, we have one of the top seeds wrapped up tonight and get a bye.

But if neither happen, we can at least win the East tonight and get that wrapped up. Don't want to let NYG hang around any longer.
