It's a pick em game right now which surprises me a little bit. I would think we would be favored by 3 or so. Yes, KC dismantled the Jags 28-2 but come on.. it's the worst team in the league they played. Don't get me wrong, this is one of those trap type games that always seems to come down to a field goal, but I truly believe we are the better team here.

Vegas IMO has this game pegged correctly. It's anybodys game

It doesn't surprise me too much. I'm worried about the game...KC could be one of those teams that comes out of nowhere and has a decent season, this is their home opener, and Andy Reid knows the Cowboys as well as anyone. KC should be well prepared and fired up sky high.

I'm not that concerned about Charles. He's a good back, and he'll get some carries and yards. What concerns me the most is Bowe and Avery. I think Avery is a good receiver, and now that Bowe has someone there to take some of the pressure off of him, it could be trouble, especially for a Dallas pass defense still trying to find it's legs. The Chiefs defense, though, wasn't all that great last year. They allowed 8 ypa to passers and a QB rating of 100. I know it's a different year, but I think the Cowboys are going to be a huge test for them regardless.

A lot of chiefs fans are thinking they'll win. It could very well be a trap game. You knew they'd have quite a turn around after the offseason they had. Kc is not an easy place to win at. Are we the better team yes but its anybodies game.

Sounds about right to me. Home team gets three, so that is basically saying Dallas is -3 since the line is at even at this point. If the opening line was Dall -3 then that means Dall is favored by six.

This one will be a grinder. We have to ensure no letdown like vs Seattle in game two last season. Less travel this time and more tough lessons learned from the first game will really help avoid that. We really need Waters back and ready to start. Dunbar should play too that is huge.

I've been saying the line would be even or maybe 1 pt either way.
I really thought KC might be a very slight favorite at home.

Not surprised at all, KC will be much improved this year, boardline playoff team.

This game will be a test, we will need everything we have to win this game.

I'm sure dex knows this but just to clarify:
On average, the home team may get around 3 pts--but that varies depending on the team and opponent.
Also, if the line is even and the usual bump for KC is 3 (don't know if it is), then it would mean that Dallas would be favored by 3 on a nuetral field.

KC is a much improved team, this will be a great test and a hard game to win vs a solid and talented group in all phases.

KC will be tough to beat, but they will be an easier opponent then the Giants were this week. One reason is they're not going to torch our secondary, so if we put up 30+ points then chances are they wont be able to keep up with us. We'll game plan on JC/Bowe and force them to beat us else where. I'm not sure they'll have enough offensive power to keep up if we can eliminate those 2.

I'll predict that if the winning score is below 20, then we'll lose, but if it's higher then I think we pull it out.

Dallas - 31
KC - 20

Based on the Cowboys recent up and down history and barely hanging on last night despite 6 takeaways it doesn't surprise me it's a pick em game. KC looked good on Sunday regardless they were playing the Jags. They're obviously a much better team than they were last season with Andy Reid at HC and Alex Smith at QB. KC will be at home and if the Cowboys don't show up focused and ready to play they'll get beat. No one trusts the Cowboys they're a hard team to figure out.

Next Sunday will be a good indication whether the Cowboys are going to be a consistent football team this season or the same up and down team we've been seeing. The first month of the season is when teams establish what kind of team they're going to be. KC getting off to a good start with a win yesterday will have them fired up Sunday and the Cowboys better be prepared and ready to play.

The close odds are likely a result of the unknown status of Romo and Bryant

Odds have been updated and now KC is -2. Probably because of the known status of Romo and Bryant. If Romo and Bryant play.. I will be anyone here the Cowboys win that game. I think it will be a close game but I think Dallas is the better team.

The Cowboys are a puzzling team and were puzzling last night. This team still lacks a killer instinct. After getting the Giants down by 17 points once again the Cowboys allowed them to creep back in the game giving them a chance to pull it out in the end. We saw the worst of the Giants last night and they still made a game of it with everything that went against them. They'll be be a better team at the end of the season than at the start. If the Cowboys want to be a good football team they have to learn to go for the kill when they have a team gasping for breath.

You would think being up by 17 at home on a team that's taken so much from the Cowboys the past several years that it would inspire them to finish the Giants off but they allowed them to get back in the game. There were some positives last night especially with all the takeaways but the Cowboys still have a ways to go to be a "good" football team. There's a number of teams that would have buried the Giants last night had they gotten 6 takeaways.

I expect this team to be riding on a high hore and come out flat, make sloppy plays, and be in a dog fight all Sunday.

Hopefully we're prepared to play and don't come out like we did against Seattle last year and think it's a push over.

If the team is riding on a high horse after that display, they're not seeing thing very clearly. They need to focus on the task at hand.

I don't expect the team to be overly confident after last nights win it was a nail biter. The Cowboys are going to be in dog fights all season they don't have a killer instinct. They're going to have to scratch and claw for every win. Most of their games will come down to the 4th quarter.
