Early odds on Cowboys vs KC

I think that DEZ's status for the game will be a factor in who is favored and by how much.

I expect this team to be riding on a high hore and come out flat, make sloppy plays, and be in a dog fight all Sunday.

Hopefully we're prepared to play and don't come out like we did against Seattle last year and think it's a push over.
That doesn't seem to be as much in this team's make up. As the year progressed last year, you always knew that effort was not going to be the issue. Maybe the Seattle game set that in motion, I don't know. Then again, maybe seattle at home was just that much better than Dallas last year.

In any case, they will be ready for KC, but they still could lose the game.

I don't trust this team at all. They always seem to play to their opponents level and give just enough effort to win or lose.

Seattle ended up being better than Dallas but at that point in the year they were not a better team and they were still trying to find themselves.

Dallas is walking into a hornets nest come Sunday. I hope they know that.

They may not want to audible 500 times and wait until the playclock has 1/2 a second left before snapping the ball.

Just a suggestion.

Last season the Cowboys were having to play from behind in a lot of games. If they start getting behind this season it's going to be a real struggle. They were very fortunate to get off to a good start last night and not have to play from behind.

If this was last year's Cowboys, I'd say 20-17 and hope against hope I'm right. But it's not, so I'll say 24-17 Dallas and be pretty confident with that. It would be great if we get Dunbar back for this game...

Hornets nest? This isn't 1995. KC hasn't been a tough place to play for a very long time and there will likely be just as many Cowboys fans as Chiefs fans.

I'm expecting a win. Charles is good, but I'm confident our run defense will slow him down. Bruce Lee will be in full effect. Romo will be more in sync with his weapons. And Alex Smith won't be putting up 450 yards like last night. 'boys by 10+. Book it.

It's a pick em game right now which surprises me a little bit. I would think we would be favored by 3 or so. Yes, KC dismantled the Jags 28-2 but come on.. it's the worst team in the league they played. Don't get me wrong, this is one of those trap type games that always seems to come down to a field goal, but I truly believe we are the better team here.

Dont know where you are getting your odds from but KC favored by 3. I think it will be a very tough game FWIW.

It's now Kansas City -2

10 pt tease KC to get them at +8 and call it a day :D

I wouldn't use Seattle as a comparison. I would use the fact that it took a historic performance/play from Miles Austin in OT to get out of there with a win.

this is the kind of game we have to win if we're going to be better than seasons past.

The Chiefs look good. Flowers is a near-shutdown corner and should give the Romo-to-Dez connection trouble given their injuries. Poe-Johnson-Berry are all very good players in the middle of each level of their defense, and Hali and Houston are both solid edge rushers. They are going to give us some trouble.

As good as I felt about the Giants game is as bad as I feel about this one.

Chiefs 32
Cowboys 23

THIS team has played 1 game, you made all those observations from 1 game, 1 we won too?

Im the same way.

Offense is still so mistake prone and I hate doing all of this audibling and keeping a slow tempo in a place like KC..

We should beat a team like this by 2 touchdowns but we'll play to their level and im sure it's going to be a nailbiter.

If you want to play that card then fine, be my guest.

But we haven't had enough turnover to think a lot of that same mentality isn't still in that locker room.

It's an organizational issue and always has been. High's are too high and lows are too low.

Hopefully they have learned from their mistakes though but it looks like offensively they still think slow tempo football is the way to go so i've kinda lost all faith in some departments and im just hoping we get lucky and make some plays.
