Easiest Strength of Schedule Remaining

Every single game on our schedule will be tough. There are no layups in the NFL. We can beat any team on our schedule and we can lose to any team as well.

The only guarantee is there will be surprises. This is the NFL not college FB where schedule surfing is much easier.

The only four games I think Dallas will not be favored to win are SF, SEA, LAR, and JAC.

If things go well Dallas should win 11 to 10 games. That should be enough to win the division.

The schedule has set up nicely for the cowboys with beat up Tampa, GB, and Phi upcoming. Not saying they have to sweep those three but it would be nice. Back half of the year appears to be a tough stretch, but honestly if Philly is truly a 500 type of team I see no reason the cowboys shouldn’t take the division.

The thread title matches the tweet, so nothing's wrong with it, but I first thought someone claimed Dallas' SOS was the easiest. 13th seems about right, but ease is more indicative of how well the team performs week-to-week than the relative strengths of each opponent.

I don't buy too much into that strength of schedule thing because this is the NFL.

Im pretty sure when the Superbowl champion Seahawks saw the Commanders on the schedule, they didn't look at that game as a serious obstacle, especially with a backup quarterback.

How'd that turn out.....

Any given Sunday. All of these guys are highly paid professionals.

11-10 games?

Jeeze our fans.

It's still a week to week league. Teams play good and bad and you never know never know about our team. If we play games like we did in the first half against Houston, they will all be hard. If we play like we did the 2nd half they won't. Just win tonight.
Well said. You do know your stuff...who'd a thunk it.

IF and big IF we can make a good run over the next five games..........we will be in good shape

Hoping and praying the cowboys secondary turns it around, they are just soooo bad though, it's hard to imagine them doing it. Maybe adding JPjr to the mix allows CP to reformulate what they're doing.

Have we not learned that the strength of schedule if you're using the one that was put out in preseason has changed and it's worthless Teams are short handed they're injured they're not playing as well guys have gone into slumps I mean you don't know when you're meeting these teams it is a week to week league and you don't know what you're getting from your own team let alone your opponent these strength to schedule things are nonsense..

That's the road game some of the harder ones that we went through and it's too bad we didn't beat the Ravens that was supposed to be a home game but we will see I still not even that confident against Tampa Bay this defense of special teams are a giant weakness for this team and that means we could get beat at any time by anyone if our offense just happens to slump a little bit if our offense only puts up 20 we're probably losing the game and that sad state of affairs to me..

While I sit here and realize that the Jaguars last 10 games their defense has given up 20 points or less that's why they're having a good season they're not being forced to be played with one of their hands tied behind their back and a broken toe that's what a bad special teams in defense looks like you Can lose against anyone..

Hoping they handle their business tonight against the Bucs. Take those 11 days to get healthy, and button things up defensively.

Rooting for the Jags and Giants this weekend. Yes, the Giants would be 4-1 but their schedule gets tougher as it goes along giving Dallas a chance to catch them.

Week to week league. Win tonight and see if they can stack some wins together and go on a run.

Why in the world with a Cowboys fan come in here and say they're rooting for the Giants That's a red flag I'm a suspecting you're a Giants fan what respecting Cowboys fan would ever want the Giants to win?

You're saying they can't? The following is impossible to you?

TB - W
GB - W
PHI - L
ARZ - W
IND - W
SF - L
TEN - W
PHI - W
SEA - L
LAR - L
JAX - L
NYG - W
WAS - W

That's 10-7 and losing all of the hard games and splitting with Philly.

Negativity for the sake of being negative is dumb.

I live in DC. These people genuinely believe that they will win the division with JD5 in the lineup. I can't bear hearing these idiots every day trying to relive their fluke 2024 run.

So, a 1-4 Washington shuts them up and likely ends their season. They would need to go 9-3 to close the season to get to 10-7 and a legit playoff chance. Not likely to happen if they lose this Sunday.

The Giants have wins against Dallas, Tennessee, and Arizona. They have a backup QB who is turnover prone and their schedule gets considerably tougher going forward. Dallas being able to catch the Giants is very possible especially with another game against them in Dallas.

This team struggled to beat the 0-3 Texans dude.

Any game is tough.

Especially with the HC we have.

NY? lol they slapped us in week one.

Im being realistic.

It beats being delusional.

It is not realistic to say "they can't win 10 games."

Realistic is "I don't think they'll win 10 games because the defense is bad."
Delusional is "this team can't win 10 games because I said so."

Self-proclaimed realists are just lazy.
