It’s funny to me that all the talking head shows are freaking out over the Cowboys not trading for an average receiver from a bad team.Just listening to Hangin' with the Boys. He says at 4.15 mark that it would have taken a first to land him.
Sound's very much like we were prepared to give this up.
I'm speechless!

Bobby Belt just saying on 1053 the fan that he is hearing from certain ones at the Star, that Cowboys would have likely made it a conditional 3rd rounder, that could esculate into a 2nd rd. depending
upon Cooks availability and production.
Sometimes the best moves are the ones you don’t make.

they are bad....I don't think we need anymore examples of how bad they are.....lol.Just the fact that they tried makes them look bad.
I can’t believe that is trueJust listening to Hangin' with the Boys. He says at 4.15 mark that it would have taken a first to land him.

I hear you, supposedly the Cowboys wanted Chubb as well. Do you know what 5th round pick between Clark and Bland was the trade for Amari? I bet with the play of those two in the second half of the season, we won’t regret trading Cooper.Just the fact that they tried makes them look bad.
It’s what it seems. I honestly don’t believe they were giving up a 1 for Cooks.Let me get this straight. We only got a 5th rounder for Cooper...and we were told that was the best you should expect because someone else was taking on his 20m cap hit....but 8 games into the season we were open to giving up a 1st day pick and take on a similar cap hit to get a WR?

We did not have to release Cooper to get under the cap. Plenty of other things could have been done.and the money was the big reason Cowboys did not do it. Cooper was let go because we were over the cap leading up to the March deadline. As for getting a WR? if you need 1 go get 1 you don't hold off because the optics. James Washington hopefully will be ready after the bye

The 3rd to a conditional 2nd seems legit
