Not sure he would need to. Jerry would more than make his money back on hiring Deion which has to be a selling point to Jerry. Deion might be the 1st head coach to lead the league in jersey sales.

I think for the "right guy" Jerry would pay them. I can see him paying Deion. He didn't respect guys like Wade or Garrett and Mike to pay them.

We have been living a disaster for 20 years. It's time for a shock to the system.

This is really the only move that's going to rejuvenate anybody. It probably will fail but I think it has a better chance of success than the others. We've already tried the retreads and Moore will just be another Garrett clone. We have nothing to lose. At least it will be entertaining.

I think some of you guys are confused by Deion's public persona. And yes...he could use a few more years of coaching to truly get ready for the big chair.

That said, if you were super-duper rich and your kids turned out to be disciplined, talented and hard-working in their own right? Trust me, that is not easy and he did that 3/4 times over...and then he did it with other people's kids. Count me as impressed by what Deion has accomplished in coaching...and I love that he went to places that were BAD to prove that it wasn't just fluff. That means the man wants a challenge. He has LESS incentive to coach than MM but he seems to bring MORE energy...some of yall are missing the forest for the trees.
