This sucks if its true

I'll believe it when I see it. Romo has played through injury before and, despite his age and back history, I think he will make a go of it unless his back is just shot. I don't think it is.

Romo being out until after the Bye week isn't a bad thing. Let Weeden play and have Linehan work on beating the blitz while Romo is out.

No it doesn't , This forces us to run Murray and so far no team has been able to stop are running game. Weeden is probably feeling good about himself after those two scoring drives So, He's probably really gonna feel confident after getting a full week of practice with the ones.

The contrary reports are frustrating. Cowboys are allowing it to keep AZ confused.

If Romo is out a couple of weeks we would pick up another QB to back up Weeden.

I don't think we would. Role with Weeden and Vaughn. If it is going to only be a game or two, it wouldn't do any good as they would not have time to learn the offense. Might put someone on the practice squad as a potential back up to the back up if needed though.

Jerrah said this morning they may not know Romo's status until Sunday. Which means he is out and that is for the sake of keeping AZ in the dark, like wash did w rg3.

I think we are definitely looking at Weeden playing. The guys around him have to step up and support him, not fumble, drop passes, and miss tackles like they did Monday night.

According to a tweet from Bryan Broaddus
Bryan Broaddus@BryanBroaddus
@TechTina02: @BryanBroaddus anything on Romo?? Ed Werder says he's hearing whispers that he's out for a game or two” Ed has good sources

Worse case scenario, he can't play this weekend. But two weeks should be plenty of time for him to recover. He'll be ready for London at the latest. I'm not an insider; that's just my gut feeling.

If Romo is forced to miss this game I will say I'm comfortable with Weeden coming in. I know a lot here think the Cowboys are doomed with Weeden myself I think he is a very talented QB who was on a poor team in Cleveland. The offense he is running in Dallas is not much different than the system he was running with OSU which relied a lot on the running game and play action passing. Great thing about the situation in Dallas Weeden does get more reps than most backups since Romo takes one day off during practice and Weeden is taking snaps

Hoping Romo plays on Sunday so this idiot will be wrong. This guy loves to tweet, be around the Cowboys when it is convenient.

The days after a back injury the swelling and spasms are going to be even worse than the day it happened. I don't doubt Romo's pain tolerance to get through a game. What concerns me in terms of whether or not he can play will be if the injury impacts his ability to perform.
