Everyone seems to agree that you put Romo back in when Dak is faltering. What if Dak starts faltering in the divisional round of the playoffs and we have a cold Romo on the bench.

In my opinion, you start Romo now and allow him a few games to get back to game speed. If he isn't putting up his 300 yd, 3 TD stat lines (which were his norm) 2 or 3 weeks in, Dak can come back in before the playoffs. But you give Romo the chance to show he can play All-pro again.

Only one of the QBs on the roster can play at an all pro level and when playoff defenses close running lanes and passes to Beasly's faster, we're gonna need all pro passing to win.
Who is Bradley?

It's quite the conundrum, I see plays where I say to myself, wow Tony's getting sacked on that play, then I see plays where I say Tony could hit that open receiver for a big gain. Dak threw a fairly easy pic one that last drive against the Eagles, he's been really lucky on a few balls, that luck starts evening out eventually.

They both definitely have their strengths and weaknesses (many of Dak's are from being a rook), but Dak has shined more often than not. Just like Romo. Conundrum indeed, Ryno :)

No conundrum at all. Dak is the better all around QB and has led this team to a 7-1 record and has help build tons of team chemistry. He is also a better leader than Romo. Unless he all the sudden falls apart.. which doesn't seem likely.. he is the man here.

Why do you have to assume the worst case? Couldn't you just say, what if Romo proves that he too can hand off to Zeke and throw a bunch of short passes to a wide open Cole Beasley? We have the most scary, worry wart fan base I've ever seen.
I completely agree! Our fan base has suddenly developed an acute case of amnesia. This is TONY ROMO we're talking about here. Tony is a more than capable QB who can read and slice open defenses. I've said this all along; Yes, Dak is playing tremendous with this team. Imagine what a healthy Romo can do with THIS TEAM!

Here is your qualifier and the reason many don't want Tony Romo back under center while Dak is doing so well.

Even you understand that the issue in this situation is a healthy Romo. But that's just it. In less than a year, Romo has had three injuries that have kept him out of games. He's a year older. He's rusty. And Dak is on a roll.

I don't doubt he has the mental prowess to pick a defense apart. But does he have the physical ability. I'm not so sure.

Despite the fact that reports say he is moving around well, pain free, and throwing the ball with great accuracy and velocity?

Why people have to disparage Tony or Dak to prop up their argument baffles me. This whole "sides" thing is comical and ridiculuous.

Tony is elite. Dak is on his way, a phenom in the making. Beyond that, let's chill. If they keep Dak in, let's support our dude, he's deserved to stay in. If they pull Dak for Tony, let's support our dude, he's deserved a shot. It's simple, folks.

You guys make this so damn complicated. This place will erupt like Vesuvius if Dak is replaced. I won't agree with it, but I'm gonna support Tony and, within site guidelines, bull down on his haters (mind you, not his constructive criticizers, but the ones that bring nothing but hot takes). Much like I would with Dak.

This is a bold statement. Not sure many will agree with it though lol.

What's the fun in that? ;)

It would not surprise me if the decision has been and they are sticking with Dak...
