Edelman: Dez is not a top 5 receiver

Man, this is an irresponsible title to an article. Edelman named his personal top 5, he didn't call anyone out who wasn't on it. He didn't even put himself on it.
Edleman was simply giving his opinion. No need to get all bent out of shape over this, and no need to imply that Edelman was taking an intentional shot at Dez.

Dumb media contrivance, but hopefully Dez can broach Edelman's top 5 after he gets to see him in person later this season.

BTW, how is this system only nome worthy of comment?

As I said in another thread, your credibilty goes out the window when you put a player who has only been in the league for one season at the top of your list.

That's faulty logic. It is possible for someone to be the best when they enter the league.

No it's not. You can't be the best at anything after one season. You need to have a longer body of work than just a single season of elite production.

No, it's absolutely not. OBJ is not better than Bryant, Green, or Brown. All three have been playing at a high level for quite some time now. OBJ had one single year.

This is like putting Doug Martin at the top after his 2012 season. There have been far too many one year wonder players in this league. If you want to argue he had a great season? Fine. But best player at his position? Get a grip.
