Didn't Beckham throw up the X after one of his TD's earlier in the game?
I thought I saw that too.

He did that because ODB threw up the X first
Whats wrong with that? For years this board cried for a vocal leader and now we have one and everyone wants him to be quiet and just do his job.

It's a Cowboys FAN forum you're not suppose to give credit to an opposing player for making a great play or some will think you're a troll. I'm still laughing at the FAN who claimed Beckham blatantly fouled Carr on the play.
You missed Beck pulling Carr's hand towards his own jersey and making Carr's hand into a fist and placing his jersey in it.
I love professional football. Not so much the college game because you will have varying levels of players on the field, unlike professional football, who will have the best of the best playing in every game.
I admire talent. No matter what team it is on.
This kid made a stellar catch. He will be a huge pain in the rear for Dallas in the future. And the idea of Cruz being on their team as well should be worrisome in seasons to come.
The Giants lost because Dallas made the adjustments and was the better team.
I guess I don't see a need to ridicule this guy because he plays for the Giants. Had he played for Dallas, this video would be the signature of at least twenty people who post here and the rebuttal argument for who has the best receivers in the league with fans of any other team.
He has mad skills, and I can appreciate that. I wish Dallas had him across from Dez. Or in the slot instead of Butterfly Beasley.
Just my thoughts.
Agreed.
It's the same as Dez Bryant mocking Beckham's end zone celebration after his game winning touchdown catch. It's silly.

I thought OBwas the one started it, he mocked Dez TD celeb first.
That's because I'm not a FAN. Cowboy FANS see things that the rest of us don't. I'll never forget several years ago when I was posting on another board a FAN argued that Dwight Clark pushed off on "The Catch" and that the Cowboys got robbed.
As I said before, Beckham is just as wrong.
Dez has done this before, mocking Victor Cruz' salsa. It's juvenile - if you're good as a player, there's no need to demean someone else.
Can't speak for anyone else, but the reason I'm fine with the ridicule is because of the absurd amounts of hype it received.
I get that it was a spectacular catch... what I don't get is the media covering it as if the outcome of the game itself was a mere footnote. Classic East Coast bias.
Reverse the situation. Dez makes the spectacular catch but Romo throws an awful INT, Eli leads the game-winning drive, then Romo goes 4-and-out with a minute to go and 3 timeouts. Cowboys lose.
There is no way in hell SportsCenter spends 20+ minutes slobbing Dez the way they slobbed Beckham. The story would've been "Cowboys are imploding, Romo choked again, Eli's still great". I turned on NFL Live yesterday and the entire rundown of upcoming topics were ALL Beckham-related.
Am I in the Twilight Zone? What's the point of football again? To win the game or to make a spectacular play in a loss? Did the Giants show up to win the game or not?
On the front page of ESPN's NFL page soon after the game ended, there was an article about how Beckham's catch SAVED THE SEASON for the Giants. I'm dead serious. The author's point was that football is entertainment and Beckham entertained the Giants fans.
When Woody Dantzler made what may have been the greatest kickoff return in NFL history in a LOSS to the 49ers, did it receive 2% of the hype that Beckham's catch received? Of course not.
The Giants are a 3-8 joke who blew a double-digit lead, at home, to a division rival. Their QB played well for most of the game, then made a few AWFUL mistakes in the 2nd half to blow it. The INT, missing a wide-open Beckham deep, the terrible 3rd down pass on their final drive.
Nearly no mention of that, of course, just like there was barely any mention of Romo coming up clutch yet again. It's only a big story when Romo loses, I've learned.
A little perspective is all I ask for. Have you EVER seen a play, made by a player on a 3-8 team, hyped up as much when it came in a LOSS? I sure as hell haven't.

The Offensive PI looks great
