Edoga carted off

Go get Dalton Risner before someone else does. That will add some much needed security. Probably the last half-decent interior lineman left who isn‘t a member of AARP. Tyler can always back up LT.
Problem is Risner is a guard. Edoga was playing tackle.

They will need to bring in bodies because they are thin at tackle with Smith (injury prone), Steele (coming off an injury), Waletzko (Unproven) and Richards (rookie who is moving around)

Risner sucked last year in Denver and was identified as another locker room cancer. Pass.

Edoga taking a fall for Zack. Soon as Zack get his $$s Edoga will pop back up and say I'm fine.

There you go Cap!

so fans were thinking this chronically injured player was going to be the team's savior? You guys weren't thinking he was going to be taking Zack's job? I hope not, if so you and Jerry are on the same page. sheesh...
Peeps do not understand still to this day that what the roster looks like during camp until regular season play is in flux.
I havent even looked at his contract, but I guess I will now,, was he paid to be camp fodder or depth, the term will tell the story.

he was certainly never going to see the field anyways. That didnt take long did it? Here for a cup of coffee, then he's bye bye. He'll get cut with an injury settlement.

What is the expected recovery time?
No word yet of severity.

Could be the 2-4 week type. Or could be the season ending.

My worry is he seemed to be favoring that knee before the injury. So this could have just made it worse.

the guy is likely done this year. At best, he'll be on Injured reserve.

 at some of these posts. Edoga has been one of the best backup OL we have. And his $ is guaranteed.

We’ve had good luck in the past with signing journeyman swing tackles. Cam Fleming, Cam Erving, Jason Peters to name a few.
speaking of which, is it time to sign peters? I think it is.

Edoga only has one prior injury that I see and that was a knee injury as a rookie late in the year.
2019: missed 8 games
2020: missed 5 games
2021: missed 12 games
2022: missed 15 games

What's that one injury, did his leg fall off?!!!!!

That sucks. Feel bad for the guy. Hope it isn't as serious as it sounds. He was going to be a key back up. Richards better get up to snuff asap. Jerry better be making a phone call to a certain All Pro named Zack; and with his check book open.
I have a feeling we'll be looking for more retreads once cuts commence. Or they could pull off a shocker move and actually make a trade for a OG. We got some defensive line depth that someone could use.

Offensive line was not addressed properly in the off-season….and here are the results.

We’ll be relying on a broken Tyron and a disgruntled Zach to give Dak the protection he needs. And he needs A LOT of protection. Without top OL play, he’s toast.
And the idiots of the world would blame Dak for getting sacked in 2 seconds. According to some, he's responsible for blocking for himself before passing the ball.
