Neither team played a murderous schedule. The 92 team had a cakewalk schedule.

Similarities end. 2014 team plays on wild card weekend

The 1992 team would still destroy this team... Also, that 1992 was getting better every year. 1-15, 7-9, 10-6...

No doubt about it, but the league is different now. Teams are built differently and success is achieved differently. In fact, the salary cap and free agency are what destroyed that dynasty (along with the two JJs). Come on @khiladi you have to admit the similarities are amazing.

By the way, it was 1-15, 7-9, 11-5, 13-3 (not 10-6).:)

Balanced offensive attack.
Swarming high energy defense.
Heavy rotation of defensive lineman to keep them fresh.
Reliable slot receiver (Kelvin Martin, Cole Beasley) if teams take away WR and TE.
Very good offensive line.

The Eagles dismantled both teams in the first matchup to only go down in the rematch.

And they ran Cunningham and company out of Texas Stadium in the playoffs. The team showed increasing maturity and skill as the season wore on. However, I remember at the time not being entirely confident about going out to Candlestick Park and taking out San Francisco, which had a phenomenal club that went 14-2 that year.
