I thought he "arrived" last week? Lol:jints:
LOL.

it would be amazing to read commentary about him if his daddy and brother weren't NFL QBs.

how many times do we have to hear "Eli came of age during that game" or "Eli has arrived" or "Eli has figured it out" or "Eli is a budding star" and then watch him absolutely SUCK in the next 2 games again?
How many times must he be annointed and then reannointed...and reannointed again before people just start saying..."you know this guy just isn't a very consistent player" or "Eli may not be as good as everyone wants him to be" or "Eli looks like a deer in headlights more often than he looks like a star?"
Sheli Womanning....puke
can't stand the mannings

I guess it's a bipolar world when it comes to a Manning.

He's either a talented superstar in the making, or a horribly overrated QB who won't lead anyone to victory. ;)

Nope he's just an average QB at this point in his career

Watch, the Seahawks may trade some scores for time here in the fourth quarter, and we'll hear how Eli was much improved in the second half and was leading his team back, but just ran out of time.

Kind of like Gibbs touting that late drive on us when we had the game in hand. :laugh2:

I checked the records and guess who else threw 3 picks and was shutout in the 3rd game of his 3rd season? Troy Aikman.

I won't disagree that the media desperately wants this guy to be as good as Peyton Manning, but all I know is if I had to pick between guys with 3 TDs one week, and 3 INTs the next week, I'd much rather have the new QB instead of a near 35 year old vet. The Giants are still better off at the position than us until we draft another franchise QB, or maybe Romo ends up being the one.

Yeah, that Eli sure does stink. Giants are back in the game. Small chance to win, but they're back in with Plaxico out.

I think the problem is Coughlin, not Eli. Eli has two weeks in a row now when he has the no huddle, controls the offense, and looks as good his bro in Indy when he does the same thing.

What the heck is Coughlin keeping his best receiver out for when he's healthy? Stubborn fool.

Said it in the game thread, but I can't see how you can really hype a guy who consistently stinks up the joint for three quarters and then turns it on in the 4th quarter.

You gotta play the whole game. Cuz if you play decent the whole game like you did the 4th quarter, then there would be no need for a comeback.

Well.... I haven't seen a Cowboys offense that can come back from these shutouts since the 94 team when Aikman tried to do in the NFC Championship game. The Giants have done it two weeks in a row now. Maybe we'll different this year, but I've never seen any of Aikman's successors able to put up this type of 2nd half heroics.

Perhaps, but Quincy looked a lot etter in the third game of his third season? What does that mean? not much. The Giants are better off long-term at the position if Tony Romo is not the guy. But Manning is not heads and shoulders above Bledsoe at this point . They're pretty much equal

I like us over the Giants due to our defense being much better, particualrly in the secondary and linebackers.

teams that have to rely on fourth quarter heroics every week are looking at a .500 record

This wasn't heroics... This was two gift interceptions plus a team letting down when up by 30+ points.
