Oh I agree, but when it came down to it, he was clutch at the end of the Super Bowl game and is one of the big reasons why they won on that day. It's easy for me to see how a city can have lasting faith in a decent QB after something like that.

I agree. God forbid if I was a Giants fan I would defend Eli as well. I do think he is a good QB who gives his team a legit chance. I don't think he is as bad as some here like to claim but I don't think he is as great as other make him out to be. Good solid QB you can win with is how I see him

What facts did you present? Are you implying that Tony's last name is actually Overthromo? How about the fact that Eli is only 4-3 vs. Romo as a starter over the last three seasons? In one of those performances he put up only 8 points. Hardly embarrassing the Cowboys.

Were you not embarrassed by the Giants coming into our house and beating a Cowboys team with 13 supposed Pro Bowl caliber players and the #1 seed in the NFC?

Were you not embarrassed by Eli Manning and his merry band opening up Cowboys stadium with a win, leaving their jock straps in the locker room and him signing the wall?

Were you not embarrassed by a Giants team that was clearly teetering on the verge of quitting managing to still beat the Cowboys this year?

The standards of Cowboys fans besides myself are pretty low these days, if that's the case.

blah blah blah.....Please stop treating your opinions like facts. They are not. When will you address the real verifiable facts I posted for you? I bet you will not because you can not because then you would have to admit you are wrong. That is something grownups do. When they are wrong they admit it.

I'm sorry if presenting the facts is trolling.

Maybe my username should be George Washington because I cannot tell a lie.

Here is a scenario: Lets pretend that it is the most important game of the year. Dallas is down by 4 points. It is 3 and 5 on our own 44 yard line with 1:15 remaining. Romo takes the snap, narrowly misses getting sacked, spins out of the sack, takes a few more steps back, and heaves the ball 42 yards in the air. The WR happens to be in the vicinity of 3 defenders, but instead of the WR making a miracle catch the more likely scenario happens and the ball gets picked off. Game over. Dallas loses.

Here is a fact: Your on the board moaning and groaning how Romo is a choke artist and will never get it done. Lamenting that he is no Eli Manning.

Eli is the currently the third best QB in the NFC East, in terms of talent, and may even drop to last depending on who the Skins draft.

I'm sure there are no Giants fans that would put Romo ahead of Manning. They may have a few that'd put McNabb there, but very few.

It's to be expected, really. I think most of our fans would Romo on top.

Except that you lied in another thread about your prediction for this team.

:)

I took a nap, and just woke up. I don't even feel like I need to respond to that kind of clowning around. It's not like anyone should take anything he says seriously. His intent is obviously to troll.

I just wasted a few minutes of my life reading that Giants board.
Despite the fact that Romo is better at everything when it comes to playing quarterback, Eli is "better" because his team won a ring  .

Ironically, it was practically despite him that they won. He threw TWO game-losing picks on that final drive that were dropped before that duck of a prayer that some scrub held against his helmet. But that and a very good defense in '07 make him better than Romo (and Marino, Tarkenton and Kelly I suppose).

Eli's "one and done" 3 times in the playoffs never happened either I guess .

Eli is the 3rd best QB in the division. The 2 QBs ahead of him were in the Pro Bowl again this year. What the Giants (mostly their D) did a few years ago does NOT make him a better QB than Romo and anyone who actually watches the games can see that.

Put Campbell behind the NYG line and he will outproduce Manning aswell.

Eli's a good QB, you can't deny that; decent arm, can make clutch throws, decent elusiveness. But I think Romo has the leadership ability to get more from what he has around him than Eli does.
