He had a pretty great interview on 105.3 the fan with Ben and Skin.

During the interview, he mentioned how much pride he takes in blocking and how it was one way he made himself standout from others.

But the best quip was something along lines of "I'll really hit em hard early so later in they don't want none"

This guy.

Is there a problem asking how he did overall? Maybe the article that was mentioned in this tweet will give the stats, but a single clip of a block isn't telling me the whole story. That's highlight material, not player breakdown.

Que?

It has literally been cataloged in every article, mentionedin every quote from players to coaches that EE is a fearless, willing, and excellent blocker in every situation, not just occasionally.

Then you should be able to, you know, quote those articles that have link to his pass blocking stats...right?

Are people getting offended for asking for the overall rather than vine clips now? Why? Because he's wearing a star? Great that he's "willing to block", I'd expect that. Did he give up sacks? Did he get called for penalties?

Ezekiel Elliott was able to complete the perfect pass blocking season as a running back. He didn’t allow a sack, hit or even a hurry on 103 pass blocking snaps.

There, far more news worthy.

You can get a good look at a T-bone by sticking your head up a bull's ***, but wouldn't you just rather take the butcher's word for it?

Seems to me you had a pet cat that didn't get drafted, and now you're trying to find something to nitpick.

I didn't have a "pet cat" at all, actually. I even said before the draft I wouldn't hate taking Elliott, but I wouldn't love it either. I don't hate the pick because I can see Elliott has the potential to be a great player, but I also know it's far more likely he has a short career or only ever amounts to a Lesean McCoy rather than an Adrian Peterson.

Anything is likely, but to what extent is the unknown. Guess we shall see.

So who do you think they should have taken?

I would have taken Tunsil (Even with that crap going on during the draft) or Ramsey. I look at what the Jags did in the first 3 rounds and I'm quite jealous with how it turned out.

Okay. Thanks for answering.

I definitely wouldn't have taken Tunsil at 4. Although I do think he's a pretty special OT. The team just has so much draft currency already taken up on the OL.

Ramsey, I can see. I liked him a lot too. However, I liked him a good bit more as a safety than a corner and Dallas has Byron Jones playing the same spot that I think Ramsey should play.

Could Dallas had made room for a player like Ramsey? Of course. They could have had a dynamic safety duo in Jones/Ramsey or they could have played him at Cornerback (a less desirable choice, IMO).

To me though, it would have come down to this question: Is Elliott a better RB than Ramsey is a DB? In my opinion, Elliott is the answer there. I think he is a rare player who will help the team a ton.

Does everyone see it that way? No. I understand your thinking (as well as everyone who wanted Ramsey's thinking) but in this case, I just disagree.

As far as Elliott's blocking... I've probably read 100 times since the draft that Elliott is terrific in blitz pick-up. Urban Meyer said Elliott is the best player he's ever had when the ball wasn't in his hands (referencing his blocking prowess).

Plenty of people question taking a RB at 4... but I have yet to see, hear or read from anyone that Elliott isn't a great blocker.
