Elliott Retweeted This Vine Of Him Blocking

He post a highlight clip and you want to counter with what I will call a lowlight clip. I thing there is probably a thousand to one ratios when it come to highlight over lowlights videos.

Damn man even Joe Montana through a few interceptions. Should we add those to his highlight vid?

Wait, what? What "lowlight clip"? What are you on about?

I asked for the whole statistic not a single clip. There was no "lowlight clip". Don't respond to me with nonsense.

I would have taken Tunsil (Even with that crap going on during the draft) or Ramsey. I look at what the Jags did in the first 3 rounds and I'm quite jealous with how it turned out.

Unless you have a time machine, there's nothing you can do about it. Move on. Embrace who's on our roster or become a Jags fan if it means that much.

Nah, I think I'll continue to criticize the picks I dislike when I'm asked about it. But thanks for the advice anyways.

Yeah, cool. Now how did he do with blocking on every other passing play?

And you have the nerve to call my response to you nonsense. Whether you were asking for vids or stats, your response to the clip is nonsense.

As I said, if someone posted a clip of Joe Montana throwing a TD, would you ask how did he do on every other passing play?

And you freaking admit his blocking stats are very good. Talk about nonsense.

What "lowlight clip" did I post, champ? Quote it.

Your comparison is beyond idiotic. First off, Montana is a man with a legacy of 16 years in the league, is considered not only the best QB but probably the best player of all time. I wouldn't ask to see more from him because he has multiple superbowl rings and years of statistics to look back on.

You're comparing a legendary player to a college prospect. I asked in my original post how he did on all other plays because I didn't know the exact number. It's YOU who thought I was bringing something negative to the observation.

Point to me the negative thing I said about Zeke in this thread outside of me saying I think he'll be on the level of a McCoy rather than Peterson (If that is even much of a negative).

Then you should be able to, you know, quote those articles that have link to his pass blocking stats...right?

Are people getting offended for asking for the overall rather than vine clips now? Why? Because he's wearing a star? Great that he's "willing to block", I'd expect that. Did he give up sacks? Did he get called for penalties?

There, far more news worthy.

No, no...it's just that aspect of his game has literally been in everything written about him. If you see complete back or 3 down player, that's what it is referring to...their ability to block.

No ****. But even if it's being referred to, I'd still rather see stats since I don't have access to every one of his games. Another reason why I ask, because the same guy who tweeted that...tweeted this

So it called into question for me "Is he a good blocker or not?" - I looked and saw the stats, if they are accurate, and it looks like he will be an excellent blocker. Though I'm not overly impressed with the clip shown here, I liked from the film I watched where he held his own against rushers in a lineman-like stance.

At what point do you realize that the decisions aren't going your way so you just accept them and support the team???
I mean, really? You haven't heard or seen enough about Elliott? Urban Mayer said he was the smartest player he'd ever coached
when he wasn't getting the ball. Do you understand the pedigree behind that statement???

You wanted to draft Ramsey or Tunsil... Ramsey would've been fine, but how many teams make a splash with a DB?... Tunsil would be a PR nightmare with the 4th pick...
also, no doubt he'd be in the substance abuse program if Dallas drafted him ( but Miami drafts him and no program required... topic for another time)

You're not as smart as you think... hundreds of man hours go into the draft... dozens of people... but some wise-cracking puke who's upset because
they didn't pick his guy thinks he knows better.... well, you don't... and if you did, it wouldn't matter. So, live with it.

You the man

I believe some might agree that your original post in the thread, which starting the ball rolling:
Yeah, cool. Now how did he do with blocking on every other passing play?
--was a direct or indirect criticism of Elliott. Thus, wouldn't it be better to say, "Nah, I think I'll continue to criticize the picks" and leave out "when I'm asked about it" because no one asked.

Im fine taking everyone word that hes a good blocker, but im not real excited after that vine. Im not saying it makes me skeptical, but Indont think those clips are something to celebrate. Those guys were smaller than him.

Good luck blocking like that against guys that are faster and more agile while being 40 lbs heavier and longer.

lol, I bet he didn't like that after it was over. He looks like he got stung in that hit.

I read in one article out of 102 blitz pick ups, he gave up 1 pressure

Some People* are always trying to ice skate uphill - blade

Is there a problem asking how he did overall? Maybe the article that was mentioned in this tweet will give the stats, but a single clip of a block isn't telling me the whole story. That's highlight material, not player breakdown.

College running backs pretty much never block that well...ever. Great recognition and he didn't tip off what he was doing and then stonewalled the blitzer. This is really a fantastic block by a back on any level, much less collegiate level.

And I'm still not happy with the EE pick, but I have to give him credit on this one. And I would just find it hard to believe that he is not a consistently excellent blitz pickup guy.

I actually asked about his play. Wasn't his fault. Zeke is suppose to carry out the fake and get into his route. It was the RT who made the mistake on this play.

You can get a good look at a T-bone by sticking your head up a bull's ***, but wouldn't you just rather take the butcher's word for it?

Seems to me you had a pet cat that didn't get drafted, and now you're trying to find something to nitpick.
