So can I blame this on our training staff since he's a rookie, or not?

I just don't like the training they're getting. How in the hell can a rookie pull a hamstring at 21 years old. The training staff is putting too much on them and not allowing the body to rest.. This is the same broken record every year, yet it keeps happening. I'd fire that entire staff.

I still haven't decided if it's going to be 6-10 or 7-9. Trash defense and fragile offense. I expect the locker room to collapse as well.

in 2014 nate newton said Jerry left the defense buck naked and the team can't compete. Its a little early for 6-10 talk. The locker room culture stuff is being way overblown also. Every year, first week of camp everyone needs a negative to harp on.

with the december schedule this team has this year if they can get off to a good start they have a good chance to do something.

Make Americas Team Great Again, Draft the most injury prone position in the NFL with the 1st round pick instead of the Franchise player that jumped out of the screen and fell into your lap.

Tap those brakes.
Elliott will have a heck of a lot better career than Ramsey.
Zeke was and is that Franchise player.
Ramsey was one of the most overrated players in the draft.

I never know what to think of these types of injuries. With Zeke it's probably legit but this is the most entitled environment you'll play in in this league. The players run the asylum. It's okay to be injured. There are no consequences.

When Big Bill arrived in Dallas all these types of injuries disappeared as the culture changed for the better. Now we're back littered with them. It's not a coincidence. If a player can be injured he will be. Especially in training camp.

Yep. Used to be said "you can't make the club from the tub". Now it's more like "when you do drugs, we'll give you hugs."

There is virtually zero accountability on this team. Not for the owner. Not for the GM. Not for the coaches...and not for the players. The injuries are just another symptom of a much larger character problem in the very heart of this franchise.

Parcells made it a point to distinguish between hurt and injured. You could play when hurt.

Of course, he coached in an era where people abused drugs to get on the field. So, there is that

thats not entirely true. 2004 was loaded with these types of injuries. In 03 he had a good handle on it and even benched ekuban for lingering injuries and not being available giving obago his job. But that team had all kinds of problems like this. Actually so did 05.

He made columbo play through a severely injured knee in 06 though as columbo tells the story. Some guys play hurt and some do not.

We did not have injuries like this with Parcells. The constant carousel of players on the injury report doing light duty. It was an epidemic before Parcells and we're right back to it again.

If only I could put my finger on as to why? It's a mystery.

You have a bad feeling about everything Cowboys. Why would this season be any different. Remember, you're one of the charter members of the Romo hate club. By the way, do you still hate him or are you willing to admit you were wrong?

Do not worry. When the story is told of the Dallas Cowboys we will make sure it's noted he was irrationally negative during the team's worst era of football.

Had a like going there until you ended with a sort of backdoor dismissal of his greatness.

LOL. One year. We're talking about a 20 year period.

Over those two decades he's looked clairvoyant. You've looked like you just had to look up what the hell clairvoyant means.

No YOU are talking about a 20 year period. Things are changing but you and your minions are too pessimistic to see it. It's too much fun for y'all to complain, ***** and whine.

Things are changing?

2015: 4-12. A laughing stock. Contender for worst team in the league.

It's fun for me to live in reality. I have no desire whatsoever to play cheerleader every year.

the 2004 team tells a different story. I am well aware of the stories of how uncomfortable the training room was in the parcells years. the funny thing is the guys who always tell those stories are the guys who always played hurt anyway.

julius jones was banged up right away his rookie year, he traded for quincy morgan who limped around with a hamstring problem most of the year, the entire secondary had nagging injuries and guys would just turn up inactive on gamedays. thats how we ended up with hall of famers like tyrone williams showing up and blowing games against new orleans in december for us.

it happens to everyone, even the greatest ones like parcells.
