I have been as big of a fan of Elliott as anyone, but it seems as though he is nothing but a big, short yardage plodding back at this point. He doesn’t seem to have the burst anymore to take it to the house on a long run. This fact seems to enable defenders to really stack the box on Elliott.

Anyone else see it this way, or does Moore limit Zeke’s upside by stubbornly running him between the tackles like Garrett? Or is this just game planning to wear defenses down?

Not looking very efficient from my point of view regardless of the reason. I could see Pollard being saved until the post season and then getting the lions share of the touches in the playoffs.

i thought this was his best game in a year. Was better coming off the bench in the 2nd half when defense is tired.

I like Zeke but his big night didn't really get started until the game was 20-3. I think he had like 4 rushes for 15 yards in the first half. Now weather that was because the Eagles backed off to defend any big plays or what, I can't say without rewatching it but we didn't really have a ton of success in the first half at all.

I know exactly what you mean. Even though he was getting yards yesterday, when he wasn't falling forward, he just looked like he was running in mud on most of them. Even on that TD run, he just looked like he wasn't running full speed. Was honestly shocked he made it in. I'm sure some of the designs runs are kellens fault but this is definitely not the old zeke in anyway. To me, it sometimes looks as if he only expects to smash through for 2-3 yards, and when he gets more than that, his footing isn't prepared for it, and he kinda stumbles into the rest of the gain.

Uhm.... Zeke played great last night. If Cooper doesnt throw 3 picks, we would have won and youd be writing how powerful Zeke looks.

I agree, and I like Coop, but the INTs really were the difference in this game. He has not been making those dumb mistakes during the winning streak. The defense didn't exactly play up to their potential either but this is where Coop needed to limit or prevent from making mistakes and score 28 points and that didn't happen. Bit the team in the arse.

I'm not a fan of Elliott. But I think this is one of his better games this year. His running sparked the offense in the 2nd half. So gotta give credit to where it's due.

Eve. With the ints, we win if we challenge that spot.

No...he's too small for a big work load
He's 6'0, 212. And runs hard with power. This is a narrative that just isn't true. Tell me he can't block, and I'll agree. He's not too small. But RB by committee works better anyway, and RB is the easiest position to bring in a younger, cheaper version. Very few top teams pay their RB, and if they do it usually doesn't last long.
