So basically, this is Ellis' way of telling the world again how important he was to the team, and that the players had to pull shenanigans for poor Greggy Weggy to not have his reps reduced by those evil coaches who were trying to push him out the door.

I'm now approaching Boozeman levels of Ellis hate.

:lmao2:

True story:

I once took the depostion of a young lady who claimed that as a result of an incident, she had developed an eating disorder. I asked her to clarify what she meant by an eating disorder and what it entailed. Her response was that "I just have a desire to drink a lot of green tea now."

That answer made about as much sense to me as what Greg Ellis just said.

That's exactly what I was thinking, theo. I started to scour some sites online to see if anyone had percentages of snaps, but didn't have any luck. Adam would definitely be able to help us out.

We need a batman spotlight signal for Adam.

Just for clarification, was this jab directed toward Ware or the coaches? Because I think it could sort of go both ways..
Greg's an idiot. He once tried to take up for Roy Williams for working out early and it got blown up as Roy wasn't working out with the team. He has no filter.

Im truly glad this guy is off the team......he has been soo high maintenance the last 5 years.

A. How is it possible to hide from coaches when they only have to look at the jumbo tron and see tv footage of Ware standing on the sideline.

B. Ellis is complaining about MORE playing time? I thought he felt underused? Would he make up his mind on that, glad he's gone, he turned into a real whiny and entitled mess that made people walk on egg shells around him; disappointing as he previously was known as the low key hard worker until about 2007.

Can't wait for Adam to come in here and tell us the percentage of snaps played by Ware.

Who wants to take bets on how much it is?

Ill say around 95%

Ware played all but 29 snaps last season -- 986 out of 1015. That's 97.14 percent.

Thirteen of those plays came at the end of the Seattle game after Ware got hurt, leaving 16 plays that he missed in the rest of the season.

I dunno. Sounds to me like Ware was showing some respect to his mentor. being a good teammate kind of gig. JMO..........

You sure you didn't hear it?:p: He threw Spencer under the bus on the Baltimore game and then said he didn't mean too that he's a young guy and still learning and that he loved him. He said he couldn't be the leader because the coaches took his snaps away. He really reminds me ego wise of TO where he thinks that he is a great player than can carry the team if they only use him more. He also defended TO. I would think that espn will podcast this so everyone will be able to hear it.

I wished I listened, not that I don't believe you guys, but posters tend to inject a ton of bias into what they hear.

Where as I am completely objective about everything and everyone, because I am amazing, and sexy.

Surprise surprise. Ellis throwing his teammate under the bus now that hes gone. Ware is the only reason Ellis ever recorded double digit sacks ever in his career. I think all the talk of missing his leadership can be put away.

Ellis says D.Ware hid from coaches so they would be forced to give Greg Ellis playing time last year on the Michael Irvin Show today...

I'm sure we'll hear more about this crap...

Just wait til BSPN gets a hold of this

doesn't he have a whole new team and media to whine in front of now? greg, shut up and go break them in bout how you're being misued in where ever the hell you are now.

Thanks as always, Adam.

I am gonna find a podcast if I can, this reeks of misinterpreting something.

I still don't understand how Ware being off the field would get Ellis onto the field.

Ellis was not Ware's backup.

ding ding ding

podcast isn't up, but the whole premise stinks, and sounds like nonsense because of the above reason.

Dude, it's Greg Ellis.

greg has never thrown his teammates under the bus, this would be out of character for him.
