I still don't understand how Ware being off the field would get Ellis onto the field.

Ellis was not Ware's backup.
Wade: Ware, Spencer, get in there.

*looks for Ware*

Where the hell is Ware?

*looks at Bobby Carpenter*

Ellis, get in for Ware!

snowball into something before anyone else even hears it, settle down until at least one other person can confirm, that's all I am saying.

greg has never thrown his teammates under the bus, this would be out of character for him.
He just runs right over them and then backs up over them, saves his throwing for tantrums.

Ok, I've been trying to figure out what the hell this is about.

Two thoughts:

1. He was saying something along the lines that the team needed Ellis because Ware would be taken out of games with double-teams which allowed Ellis to get penetration.

or

2. Ware would hide behind the line pre-snap and hope that teams double teamed Ellis, thereby making it easier for Ware.

That's all I can come up with. Because if this is about playing time, then Ellis is off his fricking rocker.

podcast isn't up, but the whole premise stinks, and sounds like nonsense because of the above reason.
I can assure you that he said what was posted. He claimed Ware hid on plays to get Ellis on the field.

stomping on the guy for no real reason isn't called for, he *****ed about playing time(what player doesn't) and he wanted more money(what player doesn't).

the rest is hearsay

Ware played all but 29 snaps last season -- 986 out of 1015. That's 97.14 percent.

Thirteen of those plays came at the end of the Seattle game after Ware got hurt, leaving 16 plays that he missed in the rest of the season.

HAHA, Ellis is an idiot.

Thanks Adam.

The difference is that most players don't take it to the media year after year. He basically gave JJT a job and the defnding JJT would heap on him for feeding him the bs was sickening.

Dude, Bonecrusher has been on here since 2005 and I've been here since the other board and confirm thats what Ellis said.

I didn't have a problem with a thing greg did, he did it in the off season and both ware and spencer said he was a mentor and big brother figure for them.

I can't hate the guy, and that likely won't change.

I think the piling on him is too much. Just my opinion.

I need to listen to the context then, if someone is looking for a reason to take it negatively they will.

Podcast will be up tomorrow, I will eat crow if I have to.

I am hardheaded like that, and I don't think greg would do something negative to his former teammate.

Oh, ok now I understand.

When Ware was injured, did we play Spencer and Ellis? Or did Spencer still backup Ellis for the rest of the game?

It's no small wonder why he took himself out of the game. He was dog tired!

:laugh1:

Seems kind of hard to believe when they play opposite sides of the field and I dont remember too many defensive plays were Ware was on the bench.
