Emmanuel Forbes at 26?

Too small for me to take in round 1.
Guys naturally gain weight in their early to mid-20s but I have a hard time seeing him get to 180-185 lbs. His long speed is already in question so I’m not sure how 15 lbs would do him.

Just read there hasn’t been a first round CB under 170 in forever…

I’ll side with history and change my tune. He’s out at 26 for me :(
Yeah, that is light.

I really like the way he plays. He’s a natural corner… but I’m not sure the team would use a first on a guy that light.

Coming from a has been athlete who’s around the same size and has bounced around from 175 to 185 it would do nothing to his athleticism.

With proper weight training and good nutrition 10ish pounds is nothing.
Ok you do know he would lose half to all of them 10lbs during the season right?

I'm a RN and 10lbs for a athlete is a big deal. If ur a ol, dl no but for skill position it's a big deal.

Just cause you played high school football like most of us don't mean you can put yourself in the category of athlete as a nfl player. If it was easy and didn't affect players you would see these lighter players bulk up to 190-200lbs because thats the ideal weight.

He actually is too light for my liking, but no 10 pounds is really not a big deal at all.

There are thousands of people all over the country that do it easily without the resources of an NFL player.

So how come these lighter guys don't seem to do it in the nfl? A couple do but almost all don't, or cant.

You’re talking about a guy adding 16% of his current weight to his frame. That’s a lot. And without losing any functional athleticism? Not at all easy to do. And regardless, 176 is still a very small boundary CB in the NFL. I’m blanking on what high level modern CB’s that are that light and play at a high level.

As @LatinMind said, much easier to do for big guys that are 240+ where it’s a much smaller % of their actual body weight.

They do, it’s just not something we read about often. In 10 seconds of a Google search I just read Hollywood Brown gained 20 pounds in 2 months to get bigger for the NFL.

We’re talking about less than that. It’s really not that difficult to do while maintaining athleticism.

Ewwwwyyyyy 4.35.

Get this guy some peanut butter sammiches and LETS RIDE!
Yep. He’s just a good player. I’d like him to be thicker but damn… I like the way he plays.

His official time will probably be close to 4.2’s.

He’s faster than I thought he’d be.

I’m flip flopping on him. It’s so easy to gain healthy weight…

I’m good with him at 26.
