I'm not privy to the contract discussions and neither are you. We can simply go by what the media says is true but is it really?! I'm ready to divest myself of haggling on this website. It's really divisive and frustrating to argue about other people's business. It doesn't affect us directly, other than to be concerned for how it affects the team. I like Dak but only up to a point where it won't hurt other players. I hope the team is ultimately the winner.

That's why I've decided to do my best to allow the parties involved to hash it out themselves and hope for the best. I know that's not easy at all, because of the emotional ties that exist. Truth be told, arguing over other people's business is an exercise in futility. In the end, it will be agreed upon by the folks directly involved in the contract talks. Let's hope for whatever comes is the best for all concerned. I believe we all want that.

Its right around 35 million, that's what we know. If Cowboys want a 5th year then they are asking for some ridiculous amount for that 5th year. Cowboys just need to give him 4 years.

So Dak was worrying of Emmitts comment. Thanks for finally getting.

No cause for Dak to worry about his comments as far as I can see . . . if anything, he loved it. Whether the FO got worried or not, I doubt it but we'll see. I know they want to sign him and also hope Dak wants it badly enough to make himself as useful as possible. It's a two-way street. Isn't that what we all want? if not, we should. ;)

I think that's what's likely to happen when all is said and done. Four years is enough to offer a great amount of evidence as to Dak's value. The FO is likely to wait 'til the last minute, just like they oftentimes do. This thing should be settled in plenty of time to get prepared. That's my hope, anyway.

He’s going to be a Cowboy for a long, long time so just pull your panties out and deal with it instead of whining like a little girl all the time like Puppydog.
Um, saying he can be elite is not whining. If you're dating him I'm sorry I upset you.

Rockbrain perhaps?

He's right, but so far Dak has only been as good as the talent around him. Compare that to teams like Seattle, or GB which consistently seem to outperform their talent levels.

Trent Dilfer won a Super Bowl. Jimmy Garoppolo made a Super Bowl.

True, but sometimes the opposition isn't what it's cracked up to be or a vaunted opponent has a bad day in post season.
