Enough

It is Wednesday and the stupidity in this place continues. Yes, we're all upset we lost, but move on. Did you expect us to go undefeated? I think not. Losses happen. It was not our night on Sunday. Deal with it.

Enough with the name calling and clever insulting nicknames that have been made up for our coaches.

Enough with the "we're done" crap.

Enough with calling for coaches' heads. (Calling for Alex Barron's is acceptable.)

Enough with thinking anything we say or do will convince Jerry he needs to trade our future away for a guard or tackle or ball boy, or fire Wade after one game or replace Jason Garrett.

I've seen more stupid threads made by people I have never seen before this week than ever before.

Need I remind you that this same coaching staff took the Cowboys to 11-5 last year? And our first playoff win in how ever many years it was?

Have a little faith.

Stop acting like a bunch of eagles with their heads cut off. You're embarrassing us with the idiocy. Love and defend the star. Move on. Enjoy the upcoming days to the Bears game. If you can't do that and continue with the stupid threads, please leave.

We don't mind criticism, just do it with some common sense. We're not Commanders fans.

Thank you!

To other posters, who feel the same way and make the same observations.

To the Dallas media, who read this board and echoes our sentiments more broadly to the general public.

To the Cowboys organization, who also has someone dedicated to reading fan message boards.

Oh, by the way, your kids analogy wasn't a good one. I assume your kids cry in private or cry to you. That's an audience of one. If they're crying in public, they send a message with respect to how good or bad a parent you are.

So a message is being sent if the communication involves a public forum.
Fair enough. I know that it's been blasting all thru the media how blogs & msg boards have been all up in arms over the game, but I doubt JJ & co. gives a hoot about what's said on here. If he did give a damn, RW, JG, & Wade would be gone a long time ago and Felix would be our featured back! ;) I understand some need to overreact and lash out to heal, and thats fine, but it just seems so over the top this week after the first freakin' game! I could see if this was Dec. and the loss eliminated us from the playoffs!

Yeah there is a small group of people doing that, but for the most part all the "realists" just see the clearer picture. It's a given that firing the coaches mid season isn't an option. Cutting Choice after one fumble? Stupid. At the same time, we're not sweeping this apparent problem under the rug just because it's the 1st game. This is an ongoing problem here with Dallas.

A big fire breaks out at a party:

Homer: Keeps dancing under the sprinkler system.
Realist: Grabs a fire extinguisher to put it out.
Chicken Little: Runs out side and sets dynamite by the building and blows it all up, including everyone inside.

I didn't expect undefeated but beating a 4-win team in the midst of a complete overhaul would have been something I expected.
It didn't happen. How long before you wipe up the milk?

I think we'd just rather let the milk sit there and curdle .

Poetic isn't it?

I remember a bunch of these "realist" posts last year after the Denver game, too. They "knew" that this team was hopeless and we were just playing out the string to a disastrous .500 year at best. And anyone who said otherwise was a brainless, Kool-Aid drinking homer who refused to see all the fatal flaws in this team.

Maybe they need that bitter taste to keep them mad.

Honestly, I am not surprised that we lost to the Commanders. Aside from the end of half play, I fully expected what happened in the first half, including the deficit. Where I was surprised was that I expected Dallas to get in rhythm in the second half. Good plan by Haslett and the Skins by defending against the big play and betting that Dallas could not sustain long drives without making mistakes.

You make a good point, but from my angle it's not about what we can achieve in the regular season. It's, where can we go in the post-season? I'm tired of being the regular season champions. The problems this team shows will do nothing but provide us with a swift exit out of the playoffs.

I don't think there is anything wrong with people being upset with how the team played or questioning players or coaches, as far as I'm concerned they all share the responsibility. When you start talking about firing coaches cutting players after the 1st game that is non sense

I agree. Talk of firing coaches mid-season and cutting players for single mistakes is over the top. But so is ignoring the fact that the team continually self-destructs and berating anyone who disagrees with the idea that the Cowboys will be just fine. In my opinion, you can't tell much about a team until after week three has been played, but the stupid crap that got the Cowboys beat Sunday night is nothing new. It's more of the same. It's beyond frustrating and I don't understand why we can't discuss it.

Hey, there's a spot on the Raiders bandwagon where they have a commitment to excellence.

Or is it excrement?

Thanks but I'm fine right here, despite the Forum Police Force who want to impose their beliefs on everyone around here or tell everybody else how little they know about the game.

Whatever happened to freedom of expression?

I do too.

God forbid a fan wait until after week two to freak out....stupid homers.

It's hidden beneath the yellow flags.

I guess you weren't here on monday when the "Realists" were telling the "homers" that they weren't allowed to post anything encouraging until wednesday......

Whatever happened to mine? I need to slap you on the back and agree for you to feel like a man?

Okay, stash you are 100% right. Kudos on your great thoughts that have enlightened and inspired everyone to greater heights as Cowboys fans. I believe someone on this forum will go on to invent the cure for cancer and AIDS because of the sheer inspiration caused by your posts.

Back to the real world. If there is a "forum police force" they exist to cancel out the ***** patrol. Get used to it. It's the real freaking world.

That's the point I was making, any criticism is immediately lumped in with extremism, in an attempt to undermine the poster's point.

It's a weak tactic that's been used in overabundance on this forum for years.
