They just tried to call me in to work.
All the windfarms are useless in this kind of weather (surprise)

I've not cycled up the Gas-Pac furnace, nor an electric space heater thus far this winter, tho,I did turn my free standing oscillating fan OFF & nod off on the couch while wearing a pair of brown jersey cotton gloves ONE NITEyep, hopefully our areas are spared. And thanks to all the dummies that run their thermostats at 78.
Wind is still blowing and the turbins still producing. All the windfarms are useless in this kind of weather (surprise)
So are solar panels which currently in Germany are covered in snow and useless. All the windfarms are useless in this kind of weather (surprise)
I reworded it immediately then Deleted it completely. I strongly suggest you delete your repost mate since that violates the same rule. I was upset because my 94 year old Dad has been without power since 3am as has my 71 year old sister with MS. But I made an immediate rewording to remove the reference, then just deleted it completely.*best you knock it off w/ all that politic verbiages,BROUGHAM'S

And she just texted me her power went out again. My daughter lives in Plano and her power went out about 2:30 AM. It finally came back up about an hour ago and her apartment was 58 degree F.

I gotta tell ya. As somebody who lives in the northeast. It is kind of interesting to see all of the issues during what would be a relatively mild snowstorm in this area.
Yeah, we're getting power every other hour for a few minutes. Enough to charge devices and stay warm. Better than the whole system collapsing.
You guys have infrastructure to support it, since it is a yearly occurrence. We don't. It's never been this cold in Texas in my life, and I'm pushing 40.

as usual you are mostly wrong. As has been reported in this thread already.Wind is still blowing and the turbins still producing.
There were some in West Texas that iced up but over half are still working. And not only that, the Gulf wind farms are producing more than usual because of the high winds making up for some of the deficit. And your quote was “All the windfarms are useless in this kind of weather (surprise)” So who’s wrong?as usual you are mostly wrong. As has been reported in this thread already.
