Twitter: Eric Fisher has turned down 9 offers

So you make him an offer he can't refuse.

The offer he wants has to do with winning the Super Bowl.
The man has made 78 million already, so its about going to what he feels is a true contender.

Well, so much for that. :muttley:

If Jerry does pick up the phone you can rest assured Fisher's price just went up with the Tyron news.
OfCourse, but sadly Fisher would not be the answer and you know that already.

20 million is nothing. We will have to sign Diggs soon and then there is Parsons.

You just do not understand how dire the cap situation is going to be. We just draft too well for our own good.

Completely disagree.

2024 Dallas has a projected cap of $85 million and that's with Zeke and other cuttable players at that time still on the books and Dak with a $52 million cap hit. Plus the cap is going to significantly increase by then.

Micah will only be in his the 4th year of his rookie deal and his big cap hits won't come until 2026 or 2027.

Yeah, Lamb needs a new deal but he's not on pace for anything that will reset the market and WR values are not rising like they were a couple of years ago.

Cap is fine the Jones just don't want to put in the work or aren't capable in being creative like other GMs.

They're not signing anyone. They're going to put the rookie at LT and hold their breath that the backups will develop into starters until Tyron comes back for our Super Bowl run. We've seen this delusion before. It's not going to end well.

Did any of those nine teams guarantee a starting spot? Fisher can use this as a career audition and turn it into a chance to get a new long term deal, be it in Dallas or anywhere else.

This could be the opportunity Fisher and his agent were waiting for.

He knows where he wants to end up, the writing is on the wall now, and timing is everything for agents.
Wonder why this tweet just manifested now..lol

because the cowboys generate clicks and interest and 31 year old free agent offensive tackles halfway through august dont.

idk it’s not out of the realm of imagination that diggs wants a new contract next season if he goes crazy again. If lamb has a pro bowl year he’ll potentially want a new deal too and it may not set the market but it’s gonna be up there with the leaders if he has a pro bowl year imo (I’m not saying he deserves it but he’ll ask).

Then you have parsons and dak who will need to be paid again since his guaranteed money is done around then. I agree the Jones can do it but I don’t think they will sign anyone who wants a long term deal to play tackle.

So no vet minimum plus incentives;)
Under the situation you can kiss that kind of contract to JAGs too,
with Tyron news , every agent will extract the maximum from Jerry/ Stephen

Regardless, their deals would not kick in until after their rookie deals are up.

Oh my. You missed the sarcasm.

Don't be surprised if the Cowboys opt for Ty Nsekhe, whom they've used in the past.
He might be the cheapest LT available. Yep, he's not much but he's affordable.:muttley:

Don’t worry, Jerry’s got this. He’ll sign a turnstile off the scrap heap for cheap.
