‘Great offensive line, running game make life easy for a quarterback’

Weddle is highly impressed with Prescott, but sees ways that the Ravens can take advantage of his inexperience.

“Very impressive, obviously,” Weddle said. “He makes great reads, great throws. Doesn’t force it much. He’s forced it a few times where the defense hasn’t capitalized on the opportunity. But when you have such a great offensive line and a great running game, it makes life easy for a quarterback, as we all know. You get a lot of one-on-ones on the outside and a lot of vanilla defense.

“That’s why it’s so important for us to win on first and second down and get them in third-and-long situations where we can give them multiple looks and try to game him into making a bad decision.”

Dangerous defense--relatively speaking? Yes. But we all know the Dallas offense can neutralize most of that
Dangerous Offense? Uh, not so much.

The best overall balanced teams that Dallas has played so far are all in the NFC east.
And all three of those game were toss-ups.
8-1

Who was it that said something about Dak playing against vanilla defenses and we went out and showed them up...now Weddle wants to mouth off about vanilla defenses...glad we didn't sign this goof....

That's so annoyingly true. Cincinnati, Philly, GB, Pitts. Before those games, media and forum members said how great a test it will be.

And then after we assert our will and beat them, they all of a sudden weren't even a good team. Ironic
Well, wouldn't you agree that Philly and Pittsburgh were good tests?
Those easily could've gone either way....so they were right. What's annoying about them being right?

And I think the whole league understands that Cincy and Green Bay 2016 versions, so far, are not at all what was expected. Most assumed they would be better than they are. Still good wins, imo, by Dallas. Just not vs powerhouse teams people assumed thay'd be.

As for this week..well..Dallas is one the larger favorites in the whole league this week with a 7 point spread.

Oh, I'm not one of those who thinks we haven't had quality wins.

Philly is a good team, as is Pittsburgh. And GB and the Bengals are in the top-half of the league.

Really other than NE or maybe Seattle, we really couldn't hope for more "quality" wins than we've had.

Well, he's been studying game film of Dak all week and has probably dissected every play. He's considered one the brighter defenders in the league.
He was very complimentary
How does that make Eric Weddle a "goof"?

Dak has been great on third down anyway, but what he said was true.

Prisco is the worst at this. Everytime the Cowboys beat "team so and so". He writes an article about whats wrong with "team so and so".

This is the game our defense needs to get some turnovers. 32 ranked offense. Defense needs to step up and help the offense. Even tho when ravens played a good offense they lost

Love how cocky we've all become with a few wins under our belts.

Everything he said is true. You expect him to get on the radio and start declaring that the Ravens have no chance and he wishes he could just stay home on Sunday?
