If what is being implied is real...just plan on a high draft pick next season. I don't think that is the case at all...and this coaching staff can show metal of it's own. Other players may seek scheme updates as each player saw them, although. One does that if he has direct knowledge or not.

I think the idea Jerry scuttled the defense so he could disguise why he brought those players in was genius.

I don't take much from signing players from teams we play against. I guess it could have some value. Maybe it helps more than I think. But what can any of these players tell the coaches that they don't already know or seen on film.
I guess if they pick up a few things though it can help.

Sad thing is most of the players we picked up should have a decent chance of playing for the boys, were that weak on the front 7. Dang this sucks! Hate being the cleveland browns. Heck if Sam can play, get him a helmet. Dont really care about the off the field stuff, just hope it stays off the field. If Sam turns this into a T.O. 3 ring circus atmosphere its going to get worse. Lets just put the best 22 on the field and hope for the best at this point, its all we got.

But to my point (See even I just got distracted) we are bringing in players that could actually play for the boys, Depending on the returning guys from injuries and suspensions, it possible we see Sam before the bye if he can actually play good football. Thats a good thing as far as I'm concerned.

Yes, I was going to say, now we will see how Garrett handles the media on rush, as well as their [the media] stupidy more so than we seen it up to this point.

I hear we're also in talks to bring in Sean Payton as assistant head coach/special operative to the GM after Week 3. But I think it's all just a coincidence ... after all, Payton has a home in Dallas.

I think that is way over analyzed. If anyone thinks a team can learn more about an opponent from a former player than they can from careful film study they are in the wrong business.
