News: ESPN Analyst Has Blunt Message For Dak Prescott, Cowboys

Yes it is hard. Because obviously you’re not getting it. But I won’t bring up the subject again. about winning or losing with you. I don’t think it’s tunnel vision. I think it’s just lack of maturity.
I don't do participation trophy's.

In sports you either win or you lose.

If you lost the tennis match, then yes, you are the loser of that tennis match.

If you lose a boxing match then you are the loser and the other person is the winner.

I'm not saying you are a loser in life, but somebody has to win the game and somebody else has to lose. That's just how sports are.
So it is in the individual Circumstance. So Prescott is a winner. He’s won games. He’s only a loser if he loses one particular game. He’s not a loser all the time. Well if my percentages of winning a greater than losing and I’m more of a winner than a loser

OK I said I wouldn’t discuss it but I have to ask a question. I can have a winning record. But if I don’t win a championship I’m a loser. That seems to be something that you would understand with your way of thinking
Yes. A championship is the ultimate goal, correct?

It’s an ultimate team goal. It doesn’t have to be an ultimate individual goal.I run just about every other day with my partner. I’ve only beat him up the hill one time. What does that make me. I think I’m more of a winner for keep trying.Does complacency make you a loser. You give up because you won it already. I just don’t think you can generalize it as winning and losing. Be good be safe my cowboy brother I’m out

There has to be a winner and there has to be a loser.

You can have small victories, because a team has to win and a team has to lose, but the ultimate goal is championships. If you never reach that then your season will end at some point short of that goal making you a loser that season.

Dak still is playing, therefore he can change that, guys like Marino are done and will never reach that goal.

OK, but I still can’t call him a loser because his career is it over. So in my opinion he’s definitely a winner. Until it’s all said and done

How do you know Dan Marino hasn’t reached his goal. He’s never said he was upset about not having a championship. I think he’s totally satisfied.

If your ultimate individual goal is not to win championships then I wouldn't want you anywhere near my team.

Again, I'm talking about athletes that are being paid to play a sport, that's their job, not you working out with your buddy lol

Well what about. If you have more wins than loses. What are you then
His post is typical Trolling.

Everyone’s a loser until they win crap . Same crap we had with Romo. He’s a bumbling fumbling choker until he wins a championship.

DONT FEED THE TROLL

If that's his attitude (I don't believe it is) then I can see why he was never a champion and I am thankful that he never wore a star on his helmet.

If you're goal isn't a championship I don't want you on my team.

Do you really have a choice what team you play for. If I’m playing for the jet is my goal to win a championship really. No I’m realistic. I know it might restrictions and achievements are. Maybe that’s the problem right there because most players are in it for the money. I always said give me a bunch of football players and I will champion.

No I’m happy with being the best you can be. And not relying on others to receive a ring.. So it will never be a championship or bust

Well, that wasn't in responds to you but.....

What you said about Marino and Dilfer is 100% factual. Your opinion of it can be whatever you want it to be. It doesn't change the fact that one has won and the other has not.

Get with the program. This isn't as hard as you're making it seem.
ahhh, spinning as you always do. the posts was in regards to a player being a winner or loser, not Winner of superbowl or loser of superbowl...

you responded that Marino is loser...not loser of a superbowl....and Dilfer is a winner, not winner of superbowl.

so since you like to spin as you always do.

Is Marino a loser? dilfer a Winner? not superbowl related....

you must someday write a fictional story given how good you spin

go ahead spin away

Yeah, he has. He's said it many times, actually. I watched him do an interview where he said he wished he'd have listened to Shula/Johnson a little more, in terms of running game etc. Said he probably cost himself a championship and he regretted that.

Why not Super Bowl related? Why should anything else but the ultimate goal matter? See, this is where I have a heard time with certain fans. At some point fans like yourself stopped expecting championships and became satisfied as long as your favorite players has nice stats.

That's why you use this "Marino vs Dilfer" thing. Because you are obsessed with the fact that Marino has all this skill and pretty numbers, while Dilfer doesn't have all that skill or the pretty numbers. Dilfer has what should matter though (kiss the ring), and does matter to most fans, excluding yourself of course.
